Juliet Rock (Barbadian) is a Registered Nurse currently practicing a large Metropolitan hospital in New York City . Dr. Rock’s began in 2000 with project Hope 2000 which was organized by the Women’s Ministry department of the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, when she an d her husband began sending barrels to a Haitian Seventh-day Adventist Church .
When Pastor Augustave, a native of Haiti, who had a similar ministry for over five years prior to beginning his ministry in the Coney Island Seventh-day Adventist church, they joined forces and with other church members founded what was then called ‘The Haiti Project”. Dr. Rock chose the name Voices for Haiti Project because she envisioned a group of persons from all nationalities using their voices to speak out the suffering people in Haiti .

Dr. Rock has made two humanitarian trips to Haiti , during her trips she assisted in distributing food, clothing and medical supplies. She visited orphanages and with20the aid of other health professionals conducted health assessments at the orphanages.

Dr. wrote an article in March 2005, Atlantic Gleaner (a Seventh-day Adventist publication) entitled “ Love in Action” where she highlighted the work that was done at Seventh-day Adventist School in La Gonave, Haiti .
