This land is ideal to cultivate, run catchment water irrigation and establish a kitchen garden, small pig farm and a chicken run.

This would enable to orphanage to be self sufficient in their food requirements.

UCT seeks to introduce organic gardens  these are the ideal outdoor classroom, used to share and learn about growing food with staff, interns, visitors and volunteers, while filling the kitchens with a bountiful harvests.
