Your love gift of US $30 goes into action in
several ways.
Here's what your sponsorship provides
for this child:
The wonderful feeling of being loved by a Christian
friend that he or she has not met, but who cares enough to be
a sponsor.
The opportunity to attend school. Only 15% of
the children in rural Haiti attend school, and fewer than 25%
of adult Haitians are literate.
The first 1/3rd of the fees will go to the school
to cover school fees, uniform, shoes, books and pencils etc.Things
that many children can only dream about.This will include a daily
half hour Early Childhood
Education Programme,to be held at Les Tourterelles
School.
The next 1/3rd will be invested into a Family
Empowement Programme enabling the family to purchase
livestocks such as goats, chickens, pigs or a cow. This will not
only assist with feeding the family but educate the children in
self sufficiency. US $30 will be invested into a BioSand
Water Filter to provide clean water per household.
The last 1/3rd will go towards funding the After
School Club which is being established at the local
Restoration Ministries Haiti church in Morne Oge. This
will include an afternoon feeding programme and a child educational,
character building evangelical teaching programme.
