The party was a partnership between United Caribbean Trust and Restoration Ministries Haiti. It was the conclusion of months of hard work as hundreds of children in Schools around Barbados packed shoe boxes for the Make Jesus Smile project.

Here's what your sponsorship provides for this child:

The wonderful feeling of being loved by a Christian friend from another country who cares enough to be a sponsor.

The opportunity to attend school. Only 15% of the children in rural Haiti attend school, and fewer than 25% of adult Haitians are literate.

The first 1/3rd of the fees will go to the school to cover school fees, uniform, shoes etc
The next 1/3rd will be invested into a Family Empowerment Programme. US $30 will be invested into a BioSand Water Filter to provide clean water per household.
The last 1/3rd will go towards funding the After School Club. This will include an afternoon feeding programme and a child educational, character building evangelical teaching programme.
