In case of heavy rain the back pack is unfolded and reveals the lower section which is zipped onto the shortjacket to turn into a raincoat. The 'second transformation'

'Second Transformation'

In case of heavy rain the lower section, which has been folded underneath the short jacket, is turned down to create a raincoat.

The back of this is also padded and it has a velcro front opening and another two large pockets.

The back pack holds additional items needed for sleeping outdoors.

This enables the child to continue to carry his/her night gear and emergency supplies until it is necessary to empty the bag and velcro it to the inside of the raincoat turning it into a sleeping bag, the 'third transformation.'

This fourth transformation enables the child on the street to have a waterproof, padded sleeping bag a much needed basic commodity.
