House of Freedom partnering with CHILLAX seeks to introduce a casual relaxed environment on a Friday and Saturday night where the youth from surrounding churches can gather under the tent and enjoy good clean entertainment interacting with the youth from the community.

CHILLAX is derived from the words ‘chill’ and ‘relax’

The main purpose of CHILLAX is to:

• Use the appeal of our gifts, talents, sports, culinary and creative arts to get into communities and interact with the people.
• Befriend these people and share the gospel of Jesus Christ through the Word and our Godly lifestyle.
• Disciple new converts and the rest of the body to a maturity where they could join as laborers in God’s Kingdom.
• Edify, teach and inspire communities, groups and individuals through evangelism and leadership seminars.
• Create an atmosphere by which one can truly ‘chill’ and ‘relax’ and enjoy oneself whether playing games or simply enjoying the abundance of the exquisite and exotic health products.
• Generate an awareness and appreciation for that which is health for consumption and its benefits
• Promote and assist young Gospel Artist and other talented young Christians get the exposure needed for their gifting to be know.

CHILLAX seeks to show how Godly men and women can live a clean and healthy lifestyle whilst walking with the Lord daily and not have a waiver due to the things of this world.

We are called to be the head and not the tail, trendsetters and by taking up this mantle we avail ourselves to Almighty God’s will and become all things to all men. (1 Corinthians 9: 19 – 22)

Together lets take back our men and women, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, the lost ,the destitute, the wounded, the afflicted, the sick, the hurting, the abandoned and the hungry for we are all one in the Body of Christ Jesus.

Local Gospel Artists such as Island Impact will provide music. This will be an excellent arena to introduce new bands and launch new music. Alcohol will not be available for sale however there will be an abundance of natural juices, smoothies and home made ice cream as well as the opportunity for local vendors to offer fish fry and BBQ finger food.

Fun activities will include Christian Karaoke, Family Movies and games such as pool, dominoes etc. This will be an excellent venue to invite non-Christian friends to share and fellowship and see the love of Christ first hand through these on fire young people.

Other ministries such as Combined Faith, Praise Academy, Taking It To The Streets Ministries, Street Gospel Ministries and Teen Challenge will be invited to these events.
