Suriname has an extensive educational system with free schooling compulsory until age 12.

There are however many children that go to school hungry, with no shoes or exercise books.

In Easter 2009 Kim joined a team with United Caribbean Trust and took the Make Jesus Smile shoebox project into Suriname again, this time into the interior, to bless the Maroon children.

What will your contribution achieve?

The money will be divided into 3 modules
Suriname Bush Negroe children The first 1/3rd of the fees will go towards Education helping to feed the children before they go to school and help with school uniforms, shoes, books and pencils etc.
The next 1/3rd will be invested into a Family Empowerment Program enabling the family to purchase 10 chickens per month.

The last 1/3rd will go towards funding the After School Kinder Club.

This will include a child feeding programme and a child music educational, character building and evangelical teaching programme.
