The iguana represents the spirit of Limitation. Iguanas are a familiar part of Curacao’s landscape.

The iguana is placed on an open Bible, which is the Word of God. This is the “logos” Word. The sword represents the “Sword of the Spirit”. This is the living or “rhema” Word of God.

The shadow falling from the sword is the Cross. It is at the Cross that Jesus gave us all the power and authority over Satan.

In this painting, the sword delivers a fatal blow to the spirit of Limitation!

Here is a simple example of how to use the Word of God against the spirit of Limitation.

The spirit of Limitation says, “You can’t do it!”

The Word of God says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil. 4:13

Each of us must make a choice to believe what the Word of God says!
