- Pastor Ronald Harawa
I am Ronald Harawa a pastor in the Assemblies of
God in Malawi church, and I am ministering in Mzuzu city in one
of the current developing locations. I lead a congregation which
is in its infant stage.
My ministry is mainly evangelism, church planting and teaching the
people the word of God. However we are mainly involved in evangelism,
discipleship, fellowship, worship and leadership development at
church level.
I planted the church I am ministering in December
2003. In 2005 I went for biblical training with Global University
at Assemblies of God School of Theology (A.G.S.T)
in Lilongwe. This is preparing me to obtain a Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Bible and Theology. This was supposed to take for 3 years. Unfortunately
this year 2006 I have not gone back to college due to lack of funds
for fees and upkeep.
One day I was sharing with a friend, Gill Riaz concerning my situation
and he referred me to Ramona who was in Africa with United Caribbean
Trust. That is how I came to know of you and your particulars. I
am looking for a sponsor(s) to help me continue with my training.
I write to ask you to help me with the fees. I cannot be supported
by the congregation because the income is very low. The system in
our organisation is that when a person goes to college the church
is to be responsible. I have tried to ask for well wishers (other
church congregation) but to no avail. And the time I started the
training there was a provision for sponsorship, we were contributing
25% of the total fees. This was affordable. Now that provision is
no longer there for the degree students for the reason best known
to the authorities.
Would you help me please continue with my training. I really want
to go back to college for the studies. I hope I will be considered.
The amount of fees is currently US $345.00 but will be raised to
over US $400.00 each semester and the fees is revised every year.
