Malawi Mission - the vision

United Caribbean Trust sponsored a Barbadian missionary, seen here for six month on a Malawi foundation-laying mission trip from October 2005 to April 2006. During that time Africa Appeal was launched.

Malawi Pastor Sponsorship

This will be achieved through the Pastor Sponsorship Programme training African Pastors at the Assemblies of God School of Theology in Malawi to start then spreading into Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Uganda and Sudan by the end of 2006. The commitment of Assemblies of God World Missions is establishing indigenous churches after the New Testament pattern throughout Africa.

The story of Gideon’s defeat of the Midianites with only 300 warriors proves what God can do with a few committed people.

God is raising up an African Gideon’s Army of 300 pastors in Africa, through the Pastor Sponsorship Programme, to go with Him into battle.

Malawi Mission Holiday Village

Approximately 15 acres of fertile agricultural land on the shore of Lake Malawi has been sourced. A land of outstanding beauty in an ideal location for the establishment of the Mission Holiday Village which will support this project.

It is our dream to see this land house Mission Holiday Chalets and Youth Hostel type accommodation plus a Vocational Training Convention centre.The remaining land will be utilised for the agro project to feed the missionaries, orphans and other vulnerable children at the orphan care centre.

Malawi Orphan Care Centre It is our vision to see the establishment and sponsorship of orphan care centres. The land seen here has been donated to UCT for the erection of our first orphan care centre and your help is needed to see this become a reality

Until this orphan care project gets off the ground there is still a lot you can do to help.

• You will receive regular e-mail updates on the progress of the partnership as well as be able to follow the progress in articles on this website.

• Specific children have been identified and you will receive all the information regarding your 'sponsored' Malawian child, this will remind you to pray for the Malawi Mission.

The cost of the child sponsorship is US $40/month. Your child sponsorship helps provide clean water, nutritious food, health care, AIDs prevention training, HIV/AIDS counseling, educational opportunities, Spiritual nurture,and general holistic support.
