Ruth Hinds is a wife and mother of
four children and a foster son. She is the Assistant Pastor of the
Goodland New Testament Church of God.
She is also a Psychologist and Guidance Counsellor by profession.
Her ministry involves working with young people and
women. As a Family Life Educator, she has conducted many seminars
and workshops in the region as well as England.
Ruth
is presently the President of the Barbados Association of Guidance Counsellors
and Vice President of the Touching Families International Ministries;
a ministry founded by her husband, Meredith and herself to minister to
the needs of families.
Ruth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and
Education and a Masters of Education –Psychology from the University
of the West Indies. She is also a graduate of Erdiston Teachers’
Training College and has been in the teaching profession for the past
twenty nine years. She is presently pursuing a Diploma in Theology and
the Ministerial Internship Programme (MIP) at the Barbados Bible College.
