MISSION STATEMENT
“Teen Challenge is a residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre providing spiritual, academic and vocational training based on Christian principles, equipping the individual to return to society as a responsible citizen.”

VISION STATEMENT
Teen Challenge Barbados exists to offer genuine and integral solutions to young men with life-controlling problems. Based on Christian principles and ethics, we aspire to become excellent in all aspects of our service delivery, evaluating and re-evaluating the methodologies and systems employed for optimum results.
We strive operate at a high standard of consistency, commitment, integrity and professionalism, aiming to ensure that our program meets the needs of our students, allowing them to become productive members of the society.


STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
At Teen Challenge Barbados, we consistently and wholeheartedly give ourselves to the development of our students who have life-controlling problems.
Through servanthood and skill, we help each student work through their issues to return to society as productive and responsible citizens.

PROGRAM CORE VALUES

1. We believe that the anointed word of God is the catalyst for change for people
with life-controlling problems.

2. We believe that people with life-controlling problems matter to God and therefore ought to matter to the community of Christ.

3. We believe that the transformation process for people with life-controlling problems happens best in a long-term residential setting.

4. We believe that evangelism and discipleship are the foundations to facilitate life-transformation for people with life-controlling problems.

5. We believe that all life-controlling problems are habits that can be overcome as one entrusts themselves to Christ and discovers that “all things become new in Christ.”

6. We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is relevant and provides the empowerment for change, living and witness.

7. We believe that a balance of love and discipleship need to permeate every aspect of the TC residential setting.

8. We believe that excellence honors God and inspires people.

9. We believe that full devotion to Christ and His cause is normal for every believer.

10. We believe all of Christ’s followers should manifest authenticity and yearn for continued growth.
