TEEN CHALLENGE - how to get help

There are three easy steps to receiving help from Teen Challenge.

1. Have a genuine desire to change.

2. Call and schedule an appointment. You will be interviewed and given information about the program.

3, Should you decide to enter the program and you are accepted; the next step is induction, where the process of reclaiming your life with God’s help begins.

HOW TO APPLY TO THE PROGRAM

There are 3 types of interview procedures to gain entrance into the program:

A. ON SITE INTERVIEWS

If you live in Barbados, call and make an appointment for an interview. When given a date, you must apply to the program in person by coming for an interview on –site at the specified time given by the intake coordinator. When you come for an interview, you will be required to read this Program Overview (if you have not done so already) and fill out an application form. You will then be interviewed for possible entrance into the program and be given a brief tour of the Teen Challenge Property.

B. BY MAIL OR FAX

If you are a foreign student and are seeking entry into the Teen Challenge Barbados Program, call us at 246-423-8273 and request a student info package. (you may also want to visit our website) included, will be an application form, Fee structure, immigration information, a Program Overview and other necessary information. Please read the Program Overview thoroughly, and fill out the application form for the program. When the application form has been filled out, send it back to us. Be sure to include a bank draft or money order of $50 BBD (for all foreign students) with your application, (We do not accept personal cheques.) We will then call you to arrange a time for a telephone interview. Depending on the outcome of the interview, it will be determined first, if you are eligible, and secondly, if you are approved for entrance into this program.

C. CURENTLY INCARCERATED

If you are currently incarcerated (in jail or in custody) you may apply to the Teen Challenge Barbados through the prison rehabilitation program. A suitable interview will then be arranged. After being interviewed and if you are approved for entrance into this program, you will then be placed on our waiting list. Upon release from prison it is the responsibility of the student to get to Teen Challenge.
