TEEN CHALLENGE
- TOP 5 PROJECTS (FUTURE OBJECTIVES)
Here's a snapshot of the top seven most strategic financial
needs at Teen Challenge Barbados.
Farming:
To develop the existing farm in such a way
that:
 |
• It pays for itself whilst generating a profit to meet our
program needs.
• There is a low mortality rate among the livestock.
• The TC farmer and his assistant are trained in all processes
relating to chicken, pork, sheep and vegetable farming.
• There are written protocols and procedures as it relates to
the rearing of poultry, pork, and sheep, so that this knowledge can
be taught among our student population and ratified as program policy.
• To expand – when donated monies become available - in
a timely and cost effective manner that strategically and systematically
enables Teen Challenge to become self-sufficient in 2 years.

Amphitheatre – Project Goals
 |
There is very beautiful and picturesque
“sunken Garden” surrounded by natural rock, mahogany
trees and a wall of naturally cut stone that lends to a very therapeutic,
soothing, homey, peaceful atmosphere. We refer to the area as the
amphitheatre. The goal of the amphitheatre is to refurbish its look
and capitalize on the great natural resource of the property by
installing seating that can accommodate 500 people, landscape the
area, install lighting and a tent-like covering with a podium approximately
100ft x 60ft. |
The purpose of the “amphitheatre”
would be to generate income for the program through the rental of
the facility to facilitate weddings, conferences, seminars, concerts,
church meetings etc.
Right now it is used as a home for our black
belly sheep ... |
