The opening ceremony of Women of
Excellence 2006 International Spiritual Conference commenced
with the gathering of the Nations - as flags represented the
islands and countries present at the Accra Resort on Sunday
August 20th 2006.
The opening ceremony was a formal occasion as ministers
of God and ministers of the Barbados Parliament gathered in unity
to hear the Word of God and celebrate the opening of this filth
Caribbean Spiritual Conference hosted by the New Testament Church
of God's Women of Excellence.

The Women of a religious persuasion have been
urged not to distance themselves from getting involved in
Barbados' political affairs.
Speaking at the opening service the Minister
of State in the Prime Minister's Office, The Hon. Reverend
Joseph Atherley said that over the years 'Godly women' had
helped to build up the society, and while they appeared to
be a dying breed now, there was a need for them once again
to make a meaningful contribution to the island's well being.
