ANTIGUA

Photograph compliments of Villa Sariel
Antigua is the largest of the Leeward islands, affectionately known as 'the heart of the Caribbean'. It is a treasure trove of 365 picturesque sandy bays and coves, one for every day of the year!

Antigua's beaches are stunning and are some of the finest in the Caribbean

The island is relatively dry and flat, the water is warm, clear and perfect for all forms of watersports, the diving is excellent! It is also particularly important in the sailing world with the International Antigua Sailing Week attracting sailors from far and near. English Harbour is one of the safest and loveliest of Caribbean moorings.

Antigua is a popular destination for visitors from all over the world, especially the British who find its colonial history fascinating. Accommodation in Antigua is varied and ranges from budget to super luxury hotels.
Antigua sunset

When the sun goes down the curtain opens on Antigua's nightlife, with many fine restaurants, interesting bars and lively entertainment. The evening fun added to the delights of the day make Antigua the perfect year round holiday destination.

Antigua has some lovely private villas for rent, below is an excellent example.

This privately owned villa is in a superb location with magnificent views over Falmouth Harbour. There are unique options for sailing, scuba-diving & fishing trips on the owner’s yacht and sports boat.

There is a private pool, a large sundeck with 7-seater hot-tub, gazebo, bar and gardens.

The enclosed private courtyard has a built-in barbecue hut. Surrounded by a variety of trees & shrubs, the courtyard can be lit in the evening to make an attractive dining area. It has full sun in the morning and is in shade in the afternoon.
