We are in a war… Jesus won the war BUT we can have victory... in THIS life!

This ministry is all about people getting set free! Doing what Jesus did…and what he commanded “those who believe” to do.

We can have the victory..but we need a plan and a strategy..which is what the Lord has shown us over the years.

What does the Scripture say when a Spirit is cast out of a man?
Luke 11:24-26 - "When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through dry places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, 'I will return to the house I left.‘…

Before deliverance…somebody pushes our button (we all have them)…we react. Like a computer something pushes fear…up comes a fearful memory.

After deliverance..it’s like a cash registry…push fear….no sale.

We can have the VICTORY but we need to strategize to win.
Let’s begin by laying down a foundational understanding of the playing field..which is us!

The fruits of the Spirit ... Are they manifesting in your life as much as you’d like? Most Christians don’t have the victory…they are like yoyos!

Two steps forward and one backwards. People are looking at us and asking “Do I want to be like you?”

John 10:10… “I came that you may have life and have it to the full!”. Are you having life to the full…or are you struggling, coping

The fact is … most Christians don’t have the victory… they are being beaten up by the enemy of our souls and the demonic kingdom and they’re not even aware of what’s happening

The Bible has much to say about spiritual warfare and the demonic kingdom.

What’s the church of Jesus saying or doing about this battle, the fact is most churches don’t talk about spiritual warfare they say……

Why do we need deliverance in the church?

The “Born Again” Man

Ephesians 3 :16

Now when the Trinity, looks at us:
God, the Father says,
“That’s my house [meaning us] I designed it!”

God, the Son says,
“That’s my house, I paid for it [by dying on the cross]!”

God, the Holy Spirit says,
“That’s my house. I live in it!”

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature;

“That which born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born again’.”

When we become “born again”, Normally no change takes place in our soul and body.

• Body –is not born again.
You however become a prime candidate for healing. Jesus won the victory over all sickness and disease. It is God’s will for us to walk in physical wholeness.

If you had a cancer on your arm being “born again” didn’t remove the cancer. However, you’re a prime candidate for a healing.

• Your Soul is not born again.

Depression
Anger
Bondages

Deliverance is part of that process it can make a huge change quickly.
It’s very powerful because it deals with removing hindrances and strongholds holding the Spirit man down

Here’s the key Question
“I am a born-again believer! How can there be demonic oppression in my life?”

We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus..are you a conqueror? Are you being conquered?

No weapon formed against me will prosper…are weapons prospering against you?

Are you the head? Do you feel like you’re the tail?

• I read the Word of God.
• I go to church and give in the offering.
• I live a good life.
• How can this be?

I’m a good fruit bearer…love, joy, kindness, patients, gentleness, goodness

OR are you bearing fruits of the devil things like: Control, panic attacks, rebellion, depression, anxiety, anger, rage, pride, addictions, rejection. Lust, pornography.

What are these? Behaviors? Conditions? Diagnoses? Yes to all
Some of these represent fruits of “demonic” spirits in people’s lives. In other words, there can be spirits behind these .. just as for fruits of the Holy Spirit. We are calling these demonic strongholds in people’s live and we will share what a stronghold a little later.

STRONGHOLDS
The fact is … most Christians don’t have the victory… they are being beaten up by the enemy of our souls and the demonic kingdom and they’re not even aware of what’s happening

The Bible has much to say about spiritual warfare and the demonic kingdom.

This was Paul talking to believers…
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Eph 6:12

We are dealing with powers(spirits) in people and against spirits in the heavenly realm.
These spirits are in non-believers and … in Christians that have strongholds.

What is a “Stronghold”?

An area of your soul that refuses to submit to the ruling authority of Jesus.”
There are spirits behind these behaviors…they are dug in and they need to be kicked out by the Holy Spirit. Sheer effort, will power, self-help techniques are not enough!
In most cases they cannot be “counseled out”.

Do you have a stronghold in your life?
• Do you have behaviors you can’t control?
• Are you crying out to God for freedom?
• Have you had repeated ministry and counseling with little success?
• Are you only getting limited, and temporary relief?

We call these strongholds or bondages.

One Stronghold will open the door for another.
The devil can’t touch our spirit…….. It’s sealed by the Holy Spirit.
The devil knows he can’t take total control of your life (possession). Se he say’s “I’ll settle for a stronghold …….. Fear, rejection, anger, lust, addictions.

These strongholds will keep you from performing God’s will for your life.
Your body is the part we all see:
As your soul gets contaminated, it effects your body.
Infirmities start showing up…….disease, pain, sickness.

These strongholds are rude guest…..they won’t leave……they need to be kicked out.
How did the devil have a right to get there?

The issue is “legal rights”. Satan is a legalist. He understands, and has to obey, the Word of God
He came through open doors.

Strongholds Hierarchy
In any army there are privates, sergeants, generals etc … Up the ladder. Different levels of authority.

Matt. 12:28-29 NIV, …..But it I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Dan 10:13 NIV … Angel speaking to Daniel…” the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.

Spirits have names … let’s look at Strongholds List

STRONGHOLD LIST

When the Holy Spirit comes in………. We are spiritual babies and we start to grow.

We need to feed our spirit man…..So that it will grow.

Feed it by:
• Reading the Word of God.
• Pray
• Worship the Lord.

You can’t bear good fruit if you have strongholds.
Your spirit man has a hard time communicating with the Holy Spirit.

There are so many deep rooted strongholds, then it’s difficult to:
Pray
Read the Word of God
Worship

The devil will keep so busy……….you don’t have time to pray or do anything for God.

One stronghold will open the door for another to come in.

Rejection is a major spirit…………..it opens doors for other spirits
• Child abuse or being unwanted
• Divorce in the family …… child receives rejection.
• From the womb if the pregnancy is unwantedd
Almost everyone we see has this spirit.

We notice that it seems to follow two different channels.

Channel one: despair > grief > guilt > self-pity > loneliness > depression > Manic depression > suicide. That’s the end result. Sometimes rejection opens other doors.

Channel two: Jealousy > bitterness > revenge > retaliation > anger > hatred > rage > Murder.
Are prisons are full …Those through anger, rage… Murder was committed.
Problem is rejection…….root.

Satan will settle for a stronghold……Can’t possess you…..You belong to Jesus. These spirits can become very strong and powerful.

Lets talk about OPEN DOORS

Generational Sin/Curses
First…….Generation sin/curses…….biggest % of our problems.
Ex. 20:5, “Sins of the father visited on the children to the 3rd and 4th gen..”
Sins of your great great grandfather will effect your life. Curses that you don’t know about.

Familiar Spirits travel through the blood line…alcoholism, addictions, depression, anger. People die; spirits don’t.

Word Curses..Words have power…spoken by people close to us. Parents..siblings…teachers…we can curse ourselves.. (“I wish I was dead”)
James 3:9…the tongue: It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men.

The devil picks up these word curses and assigns a spirit to you to perform the curse.

The doctor say’s you will always have this sickness. The psychiatrist say’s you will always have this depression.

Sins committed against us.
Maybe you were violated as a child. That’s not your fault……….But. it opens door to lust, perversions. Can lie dormant 15 or 16…can become promiscuous or hate men/love men (lesbianism)
If a child is physically or mentally abused……..it opens the door for fear, insecurity, rejection.

Adoption
Legal open door for a spirit of “Rejection”, self-pity, and loneliness. They will experience rejection their whole life. …… grade school, teen years. Adult life.
Unwanted……………Favorite child/abuse

Doors are open when ……….YOU COMMIT SIN.

Your sins may be under the blood of Jesus, but a door was opened , when you committed them………….There’s always a price to pay.

Depending upon the sin act that was committed……sometimes will determine the stronghold.

Sexual sin: Open door for lust, perversions
I Cor.6:16, “Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For the two, He says, shall become one flesh.”
Sexual sin creates an ungodly soul tie……a spiritual channel…..spirits flow through them.

Occult activities: We can get forgiveness for the sin..but if we invited a spirit in…needs to get kicked out. Ouija boards, séances, spirit guides…Harry Potter..

Take an offense: Harbor Unforgiveness to some one. Jealousy, fear, anger, rejection ….Money loaned and lost.

Once a spirit comes in ……….It’s like a seed.

Preparing For Deliverance… Closing The Doors

#1 Issue is “forgiveness”
This is in back and white, there is no gray, The Bible say’s you have to forgive. Remember this is for your benefit, not someone else.

Matt 6:14-15

Parable of the Unmerciful Servant
Matt 18:23-35
Jesus said we must forgive 70 x 7.
Focus on Vs.34, “And his master was angry, and delivered him to the tortures until he should pay all that was due him.”
Vs.35 says, “So my heavenly Father also will do to you if each of you, from his heart, does not forgive his brother his trespasses.”

We have to forgive
Satan is a legalist, he knows the Word of God……….
If you have unforgiveness The Bible says God cannot forgive you.
He has a right to torment…….all day long………all night long – Heidi Bakers daughters story
And you are wondering why God doesn’t answer you prayers?
Forgiveness is a decision, not an emotion.

Emotions
You can’t trust them! Why? Satan has access to them………..
Forgiveness………..is not something we do out of our emotions….. It’s an act of our free will.
Remember the teaching about the “Nature of Man”. God gave us emotions.
Emotions aren’t bad…………..you laugh, cry, fret, love, sad, get angry (righteous)
Emotions are in the soul area………..not born again. Satan has access to them……... He can stir them up and put thoughts in our mind.
Bottom line on emotions……YOU CAN’T TRUST THEM.

Remember we are a triune being……….Spirit……….Soul…………and body.

The demonic kingdom cannot touch our spirit. The Holy Spirit resides there and it’s sealed.
However, Satan has access to our soul which includes………… our emotions.
Forgiveness……….…is not something we do out of our emotions………….. it is an act of our free will.

Let’s talk about free will.

1. You own it
2. God won’t take it and Satan can’t have it!

“Free Will” is a God-given gift to all humanity, we are not puppets. Let’s look at forgiveness again..it’s not about our emotions and involves our free will.

Forgiveness is a decision.
When you do it, then it’s a done deal. Don’t trust your emotions….it doesn’t depend on how you feel
Be honest about your feelings.
Luke 6:27-28( NIV) "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
People are beautiful……spirits are ugly! Love the person, hate the devil!

In addition, we must release judgments.
Luke 6:37, “Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven.

Romans 2:1, “Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.”

Judgment toward others is an open door………….and the devil knows it. It gives him a legal right to torment you.

Passing Judgement
Forgive – but still talk badly about them
You forgave the man, but you didn’t forgive the debt. Forgive the debt:
Parent owes a child: security, love, protection, care, nurturing
Friend owes us: trust, truthfulness, consideration
Boss owes you: fairness, respect, concern for your welfare
Pastor owes you: confidentiality, shepherd,

Breaking Ungodly Soul Ties
• Breaking ungodly soul ties with one who has control over you.
• Sexual Sins: souls are united…it’s like a spiritual channel between two people. Sex allows spirits to flow.

Is your problem demonic?

All problems are not demonic! Hormone imbalances, poor nutrition and a lack of sleep can cause problems.

You may need deliverance if there is a driving force behind your problem.
You may need deliverance if you still have oppression after you have applied the Word, spiritual discipline and prayed for relief.

You may need deliverance if you have an infirmity and doctors cannot find it or the cause.

You can be assured that satan has a plan for your life, and that is to steal, kill and destroy. He has a huge army at his disposal and you can be certain that a demonic entity has been assigned to you.

If you have oppressions that characterize these descriptions, you may need deliverance.

How can I prepare for my deliverance?

You must really want it
You must mean business – your part is important
You must do your assignments:

OPEN DOOR LIST
EG: List those whom you have unforgiveness, resentment or bitterness toward, as far back as you remember.

List all occult sins – i.e. ouija boards, fortune tellers, psychics, horoscopes, tarot cards, witchcraft, séances, satanism, hypnosis, false doctrines, cults, etc.

List all sexual sin outside of marriage.

List any person that has a power of control and manipulation over you.
This is in essence “witchcraft”.
This could be a husband, wife, children, parent, employer, friend, etc.

Start spiritual warfare by renouncing and binding evil spirits.

Do a house cleaning. Get rid of all pagan idols and pornographic materials in your household.

Pray, and if possible, fast prior to your deliverance.

How can I assist during my deliverance?

Be completely honest about listing the strongholds in your life.
Details are not important (God already knows).

Do not pray aloud during deliverance. Words can create a blockage.

Simply will, in your mind, for the spirits to leave

Do not hold back your emotions or reactions.

Most evil spirits are expelled by the mouth.

Don’t be embarrassed to cough, burp, yawn, sigh, scream, or spit up.
It’s only an evil spirit on its way out.

However, there may be no physical reaction at all.

What can hinder my deliverance?

• A judgment spirit. You must release those who you have judged.
• An unforgiving spirit.

Forgive all, hold no grudges (be sure to include yourself).
You only have to choose to forgive. It is a deliberate choice on your part.
God cannot forgive or deliver you if you do not forgive (Matt. 6:14-15).

It’s not necessary to go to everyone and ask forgiveness. Only do this if God tells you to.

• Renounce all occult and cult practices and confess them as sin.
• Abortion must be confessed and expelled as murder.
• Sexual sin must individually be confessed as sin (homosexuality, adultery, fornication, perversion, etc.)
• Ungodly soul ties must be broken with adulterers, fornicators, ancestors and those having an ungodly dominating spirit over you.

Remember you are in a battle but greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Your are the head and not the tail. You are the victor through Jesus Christ.
The outcome of the war has been decided………………….but there are still battles going on.

When you get attacks…..keep focused on God’s call on your life. When attacks come…talk to it and tell it to leave in Jesus Name.

Mark 11:23, “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says (you say) to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea’, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”

Confess the word of God: Jesus, you are my Healer, my Miracle Worker, my Deliverer, my Provider, my Intercessor……What you confess to Him……that’s what He will become to you.

When you get free, you won’t have to struggle to get into God’s presence
Hear God’s voice. You are able to go right into the Holy of Holies and worship Him.

Take your homework seriously.

Preparing for Deliverance
They should wear comfortable clothing.
Fasting………..one or two meals is helpful.
Make sure their homework is completed. (Open door list, and Proclamations.)
Have them bring the “Stronghold list” with them.
It’s helpful if they say their “Warfare Prayers” that morning.
Encourage them. This will be the turning point of their life.

The day of their New Beginnings.

PROCLAMATIONS AND BURNING OF THE OPEN DOOR LIST

THE DELIVERANCE

For one on one deliverance

Here’s the procedure when praying.
• Follow the stronghold list:
• Begin with the strongman of “haughtiness”.
• Continue down the first column, second column, third column, ….in that order.
• You address the spirit with authority and command it to leave, in Jesus Name. At the same be sensitive to the person you are praying for. You don’t have to shout at devils, they have sensitive ears.

Here is a sample prayer:
“You spirit of “haughtiness”, I bind you and I break your power, in Jesus Name. I command you to loose “John” now in the name of Jesus. Your power is broken in his life: he wants you gone and you must leave him now in the name of Jesus. Come out of him, in the name of Jesus.”
These spirits will leave him, if he has done his homework.

The spirits will generally leave in the following ways.
• Silently, …….no manifestations
• Yawning
• Coughing or spitting up
• Eye movement
• Crying……..If a spirit came in with tears, it generally goes out with tears.
• Vomiting……..Although this doesn’t happen that often.
• Yelling………Some devils like to scream.
• Sometimes spirits will resist. Even though they resist, they will have to leave (if their legal right has been broken), however, they may temporarily cause:
• Physical pain
• Difficulty in breathing
• Constriction in the throat or chest. This is generally a spirit showing off as it leaves.

If you find resistance, just be a little more persistent.

CAUTION
Do not question or talk to spirits……….they lie………you can’t believe anything they say.
Do not get distracted by spirits who try to get you to jump ahead……….remember they speak through the person you are praying for and you think it’s the person talking instead of the spirit.
Bind up spirits trying to manifest and command them not to hurt the person or cause distraction.
Keep focus on prayer, not counsel. The counselee may need to be encouraged periodically.
You may actually notice physical changes in the person as you are praying.

After the deliverance prayer.
Pray a special blessing on the counselee. Your prayer should include:
• Fill them with the Holy Spirit
• Speak in the fruits of the Holy Spirit to begin manifesting in their lives.
• Ask the Holy Spirit to stir up the gifts of the Spirit inside them.
• Thank the Lord for setting that person free.
• Apply the “Blood of Jesus” on them…….spirit, soul, and body.
• Dispatch warring angels around them, to help fight any spiritual battle they may encounter.
• Encourage the counselee to keep their doors closed. Don’t allow sin in their life.
• Encourage them to say the “warfare prayers” every day. (both day-time, and night time.)
