As the earthquake rocked the little orphanage at the Yolanda Thervil Foundation the children cried out to their 'Pa Pa' to spare them.

All night prayers went up as the aftershocks drove terror into them and they prayed for God's mercy.

That first dreadful night everyone huddled together in the yard, on the ground trying to get comfort from closeness. Thank God for Accra Beach Hotel in Barbados that had donated hundreds of sheets that were instantly made available to cover the orphans.

By the next night we were in our tents... they have been home for us now for over a month!

This is testimony to the resilience of the Haitian children.
