Seen here receiving his Christmas
gift from the founder of United Caribbean Trust.
James had a wonderful time at
the Christmas Party held in Jacmel. The party was a partnership
between United Caribbean Trust and Restoration Ministries
Haiti. It was the conclusion of months of hard work as hundreds
of children in Schools around Barbados packed shoe boxes for
the Make Jesus Smile project.

Seen here with all his friends, thanks to the
many children of Barbados that helped make this dream a reality.

Your love gift of US $30 goes into action
in several ways.
Here's what your sponsorship could provide
for this child:
The wonderful feeling of being loved by a Christian
friend that he or she has not met, but who cares enough to be
a sponsor.
The opportunity to attend school. Only 15% of
the children in rural Haiti attend school, and fewer than 25%
of adult Haitians are literate.
A uniform, books and supplies for school. Things
that many children can only dream about.
The first 1/3rd of the fees will go to the school
to cover school fees, uniform, shoes, books and pencils etc.
The next 1/3rd will be invested into a Family
Empowement Programme enabling the family to purchase
livestocks such as goats, chickens, pigs or a cow. This will not
only assist with feeding the family but educate the children in
self sufficiency. US $30 will be invested into a BioSand
Water Filter to provide clean water per household.
The last 1/3rd will go towards funding the After
School Club which is being established at the local
Restoration Ministries Haiti church in Morne Ogel. This
will include an afternoon feeding programme and a child educational,
character building evangelical teaching programme.
Opportunities to learn about important life skills
Most important of all, sponsoring a child will
allow your child to hear about Jesus and be encouraged to develop
a lifelong relationship with God.
Make an eternal difference in the life
of a child!
It is our long term vision to establish an Internet
Cafe style facility at the new residence of Pastor Rodrigue. This
building project we are trusting God will start early this year
and this additional facility can be included in the plans.
It is envisages that children will then be able
to visit and check their emails and communicate with their sponsors
and schools throughout the Caribbean that are involved in the Child
Sponsorship programme.
