Ministry
The women program will enhance the physical, emotional,
and spiritual affairs of the women. They will serve as a support
group for women who continue to struggle with balancing their academic,
employment, domestic, and religious responsibilities. The women
program will provide the women with parent skills and adult education,
childcare resource/referrals; organizes cultural enhancement and
awareness workshops. Older women members serve as mentors and mother
figures for the new members.
• Active Parenting Now is recognized as an innovator in the
educational market and is committed to the mission of developing
human potential through these programs. Designed for parents of
children ages 5 to 12, this program helps teach parents how to raise
responsible, cooperative children who are prepared to meet the challenges
of the teen years. This program will provide parents with skills
that will help them develop cooperation, responsibility and self-esteem
in their children. They’ll also learn positive, non-violent
discipline techniques so they can avoid power struggles.
• Arts and Crafts Program. United Caribbean
Trust working in association with ‘Basket N Tings’ is
researching the possibility of introducing Arts and Crafts programs
into the Community Impact Program
