Rev. Ferdinand E.J. Nicholls
For over twenty-five years, Ferdinand Nicholls has
been involved in ministry throughout the Caribbean, the US Virgin
Islands and into South America, the United States and Canada. For
nineteen years he served in ministry at the People’s Cathedral,
Bridgetown, Barbados, where he served as Special Assistant to the
Senior Pastor, Choir Director and Assistant Pastor with responsibilities
for worship and music. During this time, Pastor Ferdi, as he is
affectionately called, was crusade soloist for the Christ is the
Answer Crusade Ministry - the evangelical arm of the People’s
Cathedral and continues to be associated with their evangelical
program. He has been guest soloist for the Full Gospel Business
Men’s Fellowship International throughout the Caribbean, ministering
at several of their National and Regional Conferences. His ministry
has taken him to several cities in the United States including Miami,
New York, Anaheim and Pennsylvania where he was guest soloist at
the King’s Kid Camp. He was guest soloist and worship leader
for the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, West Ontario District
and has been a guest on 100 Huntley Street. He has made several
appearances on television in both Trinidad and Barbados. He has
ministered as guest soloist in several Morris Cerullo Conferences
both in the United States and the Caribbean Region. His ministry
also includes guest soloist for the Regional Conference of the Pentecostal
Assemblies of the West Indies Fellowship as well as for the Barbados
District. Pastor Ferdi also ministered at the recently concluded
Church of God of Prophecy Regional Convention held in Barbados.
He has been a missionary to Trinidad serving for three years as
Assistant Pastor at the Curepe Pentecostal Church with Reverend
Torrance Bobb, responsible for the music ministry. While in Trinidad
he hosted the ministry of Phil Driscoll. He has shared the stage
with Dove Award Winners Jessy Dixon and Phil Driscoll and has ministered
together with the Couriers and the Brotherhood Quartet of Pennsylvania
and Archie Dennis of Morris Cerullo ministries. As a credentialed
minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies, Ferdinand
is the President of J.F.J. International Ministries, an all-encompassing
ministry and is the Pastor and Founder of The Family Worship Centre,
a new assembly located in Barbados, and the host of the weekly radio
broadcast “Breakthrough”. He served on the committee
of the National Reformation Strategic Partnership, a network of
interdenominational ministers involved in prayer evangelism, praying
for national revival in Barbados and is a member of the Pastors
Prayer Fellowship Network. He is currently the non-resident Assistant
Pastor of the First Assembly of God church in Grand Cayman, assisting
Rev. Torrance Bobb, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of
God, Cayman Islands. He has been married to Julia for twenty-six
years and they have three children, Teresa, Ryan and Daniel.
