Malawi Women's Empowerment Sponsorship Program

Women's Empowerment Sponsorship Program
Sports After School Youth Bible Club
Living Water Bible Club

Women with access to education, leadership training, basic rights and empowerment, will transform a society and the world.

With this in mind we plan to do whatever it takes to reach the women in communities that have otherwise not been reached through a Women’s Empowerment Sponsorship Program.

Each month, your sister will receive a portion of your sponsorship contribution as direct financial aid that will allow her to obtain basic necessities for her family to pay school-related expenses for her children; or to use the funds as seed capital to start an income-generating project.

Microenterprise services help women living in poverty establish their own businesses as small as it may seem it can be life saving and life changing.

We encourage you to write to your new ‘friend’ your letters will provide an emotional lifeline to a woman who may have lost everything due to war, natural disaster or abject poverty.

Your contributions also support your sister’s year-long participation in a Life Skills Program that will include an Adult Literacy Program and provide her with leadership education, vocational and technical skills and training instrumental in ensuring that your sister receives the tools she needs to regain her strength and stability and access to income generation support.

But above all it will open the door of opportunity to introduce her to the Stonecroft Bible Study and Leadership material translated into her native tongue.

The structure of each country’s program varies slightly due to social, economic, political, cultural and religious factors.

By impacting the mothers the children will be affected and part of the Stonecroft Women's Empowerment Sponsorship Program will allow the mothers to bring a mother three times a week to the After School Child Feeding Club,

Chichewa is one of the two official national languages of the Republic of Malawi, the other being English, and as Chinyanja is one of the seven official tribal languages of Zambia. It is also spoken in Mozambique, as well as in Zimbabwe where, according to some estimates, it ranks as the third most widely used local language This translation will enable us to extend the Stonecroft Bible Study into these desparate countries.
