Overview of the Signs of the Times

(Mike Bickles Teaching adapted for the Pastors of Africa)

INTRODUCTION

Many today neglect the subject of the biblical signs of the times despite many Scriptures that emphasize how important these signs are. Jesus, more than any of the apostles, emphasized the need to discern the times (Mt. 24:32 - 35). He strongly rebuked those who did not pay attention to the prophetic signs that pointed to His first coming.

32 “Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. 33 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.34 Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
(Mt. 24:32 - 35)

In Scripture, a generation ranges from 40 to 70 years.

40 years:

The Lord’s anger burned against Israel and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until the whole generation of those who had done evil in his sight was gone. (Num. 32:13)

70 years:

Our days may come to seventy years or eighty, if our strength endures; (Ps. 90:10)

1.THREE CATEGORIES OF SIGNS

Three main categories of the signs of the times—sign events, sign trends, and cosmic signs.

A. Sign events: These are actual events predicted in Scripture that alert us to the timing of Jesus’ return. They include political, spiritual, economic, and religious events,such as the rebirth of the state of Israel, the future 10-nation confederation, the abomination of desolation, the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem, etc. Sign events are the most faith-building.

B. Sign trends: Both positive and negative sign trends signal the generation of Jesus’ return. Examples of positive trends are the gospel being preached in all nations, the global prayer movement, and the Church walking in power, purity, and unity, and standing with Israel even in persecution. Negative trends include an increase of escalating violence, famines, and persecution of the saints, and the falling away. Trends are not as overt or faith-building as sign events, because the way they occur is not as clearly defined as a dramatic event.

C. Cosmic signs: There will be dramatic signs in the heavens that will cause many to fear.

11“There will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.” (Lk. 21:11)

2. SIGN EVENTS AND TRENDS RELATED TO ISRAEL

A. Resettlement of Israel:
The most striking events in biblical prophecy are the return of the Jews to their ancient homeland to reestablish the state of Israel and to gain control of Jerusalem. (Joel 3 :2, 12; Zech. 12:3; 14:2; Lk. 21:24). Israel became a nation on May 14, 1948, and then gained control of Jerusalem in the Six-Day War (June 1967). No prophetic sign is more dramatic or convincing. The Jews were scattered to the nations in AD 70. Now, 2,000 years later, they are back home.

8“In the latter years you [Antichrist] will come into the land of those [Israel]…gathered from many people [nations] on the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate.” (Ezek. 38:8)

6“In that day…Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place—Jerusalem.” (Zech. 12:6)

B. The rebuilt temple in Jerusalem, with sacrifices according to the OT law, is to be a sign (Mt. 24:15; Mk.13:14; 2 Thes. 2:4; Rev.11:1-2; 13:12-18; Dan. 9:26-27; 11:31; 12:11-12). The temple was destroyed in AD 70. Orthodox Jews are leading a new, strong movement to rebuild the temple.

C. Salvation of Israel: Messianic Jewish congregations are seeing more Jewish people in Israel come to Jesus than at any time since the first century. There are 120+ Messianic congregations in Israel, totaling more than 12,000 believers. This is an increase of over 500% in the last 10 years.

39“You shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.’” (Mt. 23:39)

D. Two conflicting trends: Love for Israel in the Body of Christ. Many Jews and Gentiles will go into prison camps under the Antichrist’s reign of terror. Jesus will deliver Israel and require the Church to stand with Israel in their time of trouble. Anti-Semitism in the nations.

3. SIGN TRENDS RELATED TO THE NATIONS

A. Global government: A Middle East/European superstate (revived Roman Empire) will emerge,with a 10-nation confederation under the Antichrist (Dan. 2:41-42; 7:7, 20, 24;Rev. 12:3; 13:1; 17:3, 7, 12-13, 16). The most challenging issues facing the nations are international in nature, including the global war on terror and the global financial crisis. The tension in the financial crisis is that we have global financial markets without global rule of law. The crisis will create an atmosphere in which “global governance” will be a more attractive option for finding solutions.

B. Globalization: Financial institutions, commerce, communication, and geopolitics are shifting from being nation based to a globally unified expression (Rev. 17-18). There will be one-world political cooperation, technology, economics, etc. Government, commerce, and religions will pool resources.

C. Knowledge and travel: Daniel prophesied a great increase of knowledge (communication) and travel (transportation) as many “run to and fro.” It is estimated that global tourism will generate $5 trillion annually by 2020.Currently, the total knowledge possessed by humans doubles annually.

4“Seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro[unprecedented travel], and knowledge shall increase[information age].” (Dan. 12:4)

The collective sum of all knowledge is doubling every four years. Knowledge of biological science is doubling every six months. In the past 100 years there has been a literal explosion in the increase of knowledge…

1900 - Less than a century ago man used horses to travel from place to place.

2000 - This century has seen the invention of automobiles, electricity, air travel and computers

1900 - Less than a century ago man took to the air.

2000 - Today the world's fastest airplane is the Lockheed SR-71,the “Blackbird” which reached a speed of 2,193.2 miles (3,529.6 km) per hour.

Alexander Graham Bell changed the world in 1876 when he invented the telephone, connecting people across thousands of miles. Over the next 100 years, amazing advances would be made to Mr. Bell's creation.

D. Internet technology has allowed knowledge to greatly increase. The ability of the Antichrist’s government to enforce the mark of the Beast system worldwide (Rev. 13:16-18) implies the existence of modern technology, a cashless society, and a one-world economic system.

16He causes all…to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast. (Rev. 13:16-17)

4. POSITIVE SIGN TRENDS

A. Gospel preached to all nations: Jesus connected the timing of His return to the preaching of the gospel to all nations (12,000 people groups). Leading mission leaders project that the gospel will be preached to every people group by 2020. The greatest harvest of souls in history is occurring now. The Bible has been translated into 2,000+ languages (used by 98% of the world’s population).

14“This gospel…will be preached…to all the nations[ethnos] and then the end will come.” (Mt. 24:14)

AFRICA TRAINING BIBLE SCHOOL (ATBS):

ATBS has penetrated into the Hadzabe tribe, an indigenous ethnic group in north-central Tanzania.

The Hadza's way of life is highly conservative. Huts have been built in this style for as long as records have been kept. As descendants of Tanzania's aboriginal hunter-gatherer population, they have probably occupied their current territory for thousands of years.

In the Chunya Africa Training Bible School Center (ATBS) Apostle David is training the untrained pastors from the Sukuma tribe. The Sukuma are a Bantu ethnic group inhabiting the southeastern African Great Lakes region. The Sukuma are the largest ethnic group in Tanzania, with an estimated 5.5 million members or 16 percent of the country's total population.

ATBS Idumbi village are focused on the Safwa tribe. Many Safwa villages have little or no effective evangelical witness. It is estimated that as many as 80 percent of the Safwa people are devout followers of African traditional religion or no religion at all.

Tukuyu ATBS has penetrated the Barabaig tribe, a nomadic tribe of the Datooga people. This tribe is an un reached tribes according to Joshua projects and the ATBS Tukuya Center is very vital in the area. The Barabaig resistant to cultural change, including belief in Christianity, maintaining a strong adherence to traditional animist beliefs and practices.

B. Bridal identity: John connected Jesus’ return to the Church understanding her bridal identity. This is occurring in a global way for the first time in history (Rev. 22:17).

C. Outpouring of the Spirit: The Lord promised to pour out His Spirit on all believers (Acts 2:17-21). The increase of the number of believers with “charismatic” theology and experience has grown from one million (1920) to 60 million (1970) to over600 million today—this is a sign of the times.

D. Global prayer and worship movement: Psalms 96 and 98 prophesy a time when singing will arise to the Lord from all the earth.

1Sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth…9Worship the Lord…tremble before Him, all the earth…13For He is coming to judge the earth.
(Ps. 96:1-13)

1Sing to the Lord a new song…3All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. 4Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth; break forth in song…and sing praises. (Ps. 98:1-4)

May God establish 24/7 prayer with worship in every tribe and tongue on earth before Jesus returns! This may happen in several places across a city or region (not just in one building), with many ministries working together.

The Spirit is calling the Church to work together to offer intercession flowing from prophetic worship (music) and intimacy with God to fulfill the Great Commission (to win the lost, revive the Church, and impact society). It is prayer for the harvest, with music, and from intimacy with God.

Before Jesus returns, the Spirit will raise up the greatest prayer movement in history. There are many indicators of this in the Scriptures (Ps.122:6; Isa. 19:20-22; 24:14-16; 27: 13; 42:10-15; 51:11; 52:8; 62:6-7; Zeph. 2:1-2; Zech.12:10; Mt. 21:13; Rev. 5:8; 8:3-4).

7“Shall God not avenge [bring justice to] His own elect who cry out day and night to Him…? 8When the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith [agreement]on the earth?” (Lk.18:7-8)

In 1984, the number of 24/7 houses of prayer in the world was fewer than 25. Today there are more 10,000, and most of the growth has occurred in the last 10 years.

The International House of Prayer (IHOP):

The International House of Prayer is an evangelical missions organization that is committed to praying for the release of the fullness of God’s power and purpose, as we actively win the lost, heal the sick, feed the poor, make disciples, and impact every sphere of society—family, education, government, economy, arts, media, religion, etc. Our vision is to work in relationship with the wider Body of Christ to engage in the Great Commission, as we seek to walk out the two great commandments to love God and people.

IHOP is committed to prayer, fasting, the Great Commission, and to living as forerunners, spiritually preparing for the unique dynamics of the end times. The work of our ministry includes equipping and sending out missionaries as dedicated intercessors and evangelists who work to see revival within the Church and a harvest among those searching for God.

Call2All hosted a congress in Orlando (Jan. 2008),and 170 CEOs of most of the top missions organizations made a commitment to start 70,000 new houses of prayer by 2020.

In the Hong Kong Congress (June 2009) 3,000 leaders committed to start 400,000 houses of prayer by 2020.In Call2All congresses, leadershave committed to start over 500,000 houses of prayer.

The Lord desires to be worshiped on earth as He is in heaven. In Revelation 4-5, John describes the worship order established after God’s heart. It reveals how He wants to be worshiped. The heavenly order of worship is continual, musical, and God-centered
(Rev. 4:8; 14:2).

Isaiah prophesied 24/7 prayer ministries that would continue until Jesus returns . Only one generation will see the fulfillment of God’s promise to “set” intercessors in place worldwide, who cry out until Jerusalem becomes a praise in the earth—which will happen when Jesus returns.

6I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace[be silent, NASB] day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, 7and give Him no rest till He…makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth [at Jesus’ return]. (Isa. 62:6-7)

5. THE GREAT END-TIME CONFLICT:

The Great End-Time Conflict: Two Global Worship Movements
The great conflict at the end-of-the-age will be between two Houses of Prayer or between two global worship movements.

The Holy Spirit is raising up the most powerful prayer and worship movement in history .

The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life. (Rev. 22:17)

It will be the Church’s “first line of defense” against the Antichrist’s worship movement and his persecutions.

Satan will raise up a worship (and prayer) movement in which he and the Antichrist will be worshipped and obeyed by several billion people

It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast… (Rev. 13:12a)

This worship movement will cause the people in the kingdom of darkness to have a deep heart connect with Satan. This will be the most power, passionate and dangerous time in world history.

All who dwell on the earth will worship him (Antichrist), whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Rev. 13:8)

The worship that Satan wanted from Jesus is what he demands from the whole earth.

All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast… (Rev. 13: 8a)

Satan offered Jesus the political authority over all the kingdoms of the earth if He would worship him.

The devil…showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, "

All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me." (Matt. 4:8-9)

The Antichrist, the False Prophet and their followers will be fully committed to this false worship movement.

Jesus, the Holy Spirit and the End-Time Church will be even more committed to the true worship movement.

The Antichrist will demand to be worshipped before an idol as King Nebuchadnezzar did in the Old Testament.

Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, whose height was (90 feet) and its width (9 feet) Then a herald cried aloud, "…You shall… worship the gold image whoever does not fall down and worship shall be cast into…fiery furnace." (Dan. 3:1-6)

Are we living in the last days?

Time is running out! We must be like the son’s of Issachar…

…men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do.
(1 Chronicles 12:32)

1. Fajr (pre-dawn): This prayer starts off the day it is performed before sunrise leading up to sunrise between 4.30 am to sunrise 5:45 am depending upon the time of year. All of these times are depending upon the time of year.

2. Dhuhr (noon): After the day's work has begun around 11. 45 am to 12.30 am

3. Asr (afternoon): Around 3.00 pm – 3.45 pm depending upon the time of year.

4. Maghrib (sunset): Around 5:30 am to 6.15 pm depending upon the time of year.

5. 'Isha (evening): Before retiring for the night around 7.30pm depending upon the time of year.

I believe that the Muslim call to prayer is not just an alarm clock to alert Muslims when it is time to pray but it is an ALARM for Christians to pray and counteract the declarations being shouted into the atmosphere Barbados, the Caribbean and indeed througout Africa..

Below is an example of Christian declarations to counteract the declarations of the Adhan:

• Yahweh-Elohim is the Greatest
• I bear witness that there is no other god except Yahweh-Elohim
• I bear witness that, Jesus Christ, His Son, is Sovereign Lord over Barbados
• Hurry to pray to the true God Yahweh-Elohim
• Hurry to success which is found only in Salvation through Jesus Christ
• Yahweh-Elohim is the Greatest
• I bear witness that there is no god except Yahweh-Elohim

For the pre-dawn Adhan the following phrase should be inserted at the end:

• Prayer to the true God Yahweh-Elohim is better than sleep

The strategy I believe God has given is to gather 35 Prayer Warriors and they will find 35 Prayer Partners, of which 10 intercessors per day (two for each of the 5 times of prayer = 10) will counter decree and pray once a week at one of the allocated times the Adhan is occurring. This amounts to approximately a 30 minutes per week commitment this is why we need 70 intercessors per Mosque.

Islam prayers changed into Christian prayers to be read after the Adhan has being proclaimed while the Muslims are praying over Barbados five times a day.

Glory be to you Elohim, Creator, Mighty and Strong, all praises are due unto You, and blessed is Your name El Shaddai, God Almighty,

The Mighty, Majestic, All-Powerful God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Exodus 3:6) none is worthy of worship but You.

I seek El-Gibhor the most Powerful,
the Mighty Warrior’s protection from satan who is accursed.

Praise is only for Yahweh-Sabaoth, the LORD of Hosts, the LORD of the Universe.
Show us the straight and narrow way. We pray in accordance to John 14:6 Jesus You are the Way the Truth and the Life no one comes to the Father but by You.

We know Father according to John 3:16 that you so loved the world, that You gave Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

May the peace of Yahweh Shalom – The Lord Of Peace transcend all understanding, may Yahweh Shalom guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.

Remember Yahweh your covenant with Abraham that You established with Isaac, and be gracious to us ... (2 Kings 13:23a)

Yahweh- Nissi may your victory be total and complete, destroying whatever stands in the way of your plan and purpose for our lives and the island of Barbados.

As we confess the sins of our fore fathers, and turn from our wicked ways God you promised you would heal our land. Amen...

But the Holy Spirit told me it was not over, because I held un-forgiveness in my heart.

You said Father that whenever we stand praying if we hold anything against another to forgive him so that you Father in Heaven may also forgive us our trespasses.

So we choose to forgive all those from the Islamic State and other Jihadist groups, that have wronged us and persecuted our brothers and sisters in Christ in the Middle East.

Rescue their persecutors from the dominion of darkness and bring them into the kingdom of Your Son, in whom we have redemption and forgiveness of sins.

We pray God that you will make known to them Your glorious riches through the mystery of Christ.

Give them the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that they may know Him better. (Ephesians 1:17)

We pray Father that you will give the Muslims dreams and visions of Jesus, supernatural encounters with Yeshua.

We pray for Muslims worldwide and especially here in Barbados that they will have a full revelation of the true God and His loving character revealed through His Son Jesus Christ.

In the name of Jesus, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Lamb that was slain. Amen

The Holy Spirit said “This is a trumpet call, to rally the Christians to pray in unity in this end time.

You cannot pray for the son’s of Ishmael and not the son’s of Isaac”

“For Zion’s sake I will not hold my peace, ...” (Isa. 62:1a)

Our Father in Heaven, El Elyon, Most High God, Protector and Redeemer of Israel, bless the State of Israel.

We pray for the nation of Israel to receive their Jewish Messiah, Yeshua (Jesus).
Oh Lord we know in this end time that you are gathering the nations to battle against Jerusalem, (Zech. 14:2) and that you Yeshua will go forth and fight against those nations. (Zech. 14:3).Y es, they will mourn for You, Yeshua, as one mourns for his only son ...” (Zech. 12:9-10)

We pray that one day Yeshua will rule over all nations from His throne of glory in Jerusalem.
Send Your Light and Truth to the officers of Israel, to its leaders we pray, and direct them with Your good counsel.

We lift up the Israel Defence Force and ask for Supernatural protection. We pray Psalm 91 over them now.

We pray that you will give wisdom and alertness to the security services in the face of recent Israel attacks.

Give excellent cooperation, communication and coordination between the various security forces.

Give alertness to the general public, cause people to act out of responsibility rather than out of fear.

May Israel close her ears to the criticism of the world when it comes to preserving the security of all her people.

Raise up intercessors called to pray for the city.

Last but not least, we pray for the peace of Jerusalem and all Israel—a cry that will find its ultimate fulfilment in the Sar Shalom —The Prince of Peace, Yeshua Himself. In Yeshua’s name Amen

5. NEGATIVE SPIRITUAL SIGNS/TRENDS IN THE CHURCH AND SOCIETY

Time is running out

Jesus identified 12 negative sign trends

Jesus gave 12 negative sign trends that will bring distress to the nations and indicate the generation of His return - Matthew described nine trends; Luke added three more.

They include:

A. Deception (Mt. 24: 4-5)
B. Apostasy (Mt. 24:10)
C. Violence - Ethnic conflict (Mt. 24:7a) nation will rise against nation [Gk. ethnos, or ethnic conflict]
D. Kingdom against kingdom (Mt. 24:7b)
E. Famines, Pestilence (Mt. 24:7c)
F. Earthquakes (Mt. 24:7d)
G. Hatred of believers (Mt. 24:9)
H. Relational breakdown in society (Mt. 24:10)
I. Lawlessness, a great increase in sinful behavior, rebellion, and anarchy in of society (Mt. 24:12)
J. Fearful sights (Lk. 21:11v)
K. Disturbances in the sea (Lk. 21: 25b).
L. Great signs in the sky (Lk. 21:11c), (the sun, moon, and stars)

January 2010 during the Haiti earthquake, the Holy Spirit spoke to Jenny Tryhane/Founder of United Caribbean Trust an earthquake survivor. “This is the beginning of the birth pangs, only those that operate in the Supernatural will survive”

The beginning of birth pangs occurs before the 7-year Tribulation period starts. Israel is the timetable for God’s prophetic plans. They are the reference point for understanding redemptive history past and future.

A. DECEPTION BY FALSE CHRISTS/PROPHETS (MT. 24:4-5, 11, 24, 2 THESS. 2:3)

4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many.” (Mt. 24: 4-5)

B. APOSTASY
Sound doctrine teaches obedience and allegiance to Jesus; thus, it requires endurance.

3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4and they will turn their ears away from the truth…5But you be watchful in all things. (2 Tim. 4:3-5)

Falling away from the faith: Jesus and Paul prophesied about a falling away from the faith in the end times. This prophetic word is one of the greatest challenges facing the Church at this hour (Mt. 24:10-13; 2 Tim. 3:1-7; 2 Pet. 2:1-3). A “doctrine of demons” is a teaching inspired by a demon.

1Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons. (1 Tim. 4:1)

Paul highlighted two prophetic signs to indicate the time of Jesus’ coming—a falling away from the faith combined with the revealing of the Antichrist on the world stage.

3Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day [Jesus’ coming] will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin [Antichrist] is revealed.
(2 Thes. 2:3)

58% of American Christians now believe that there are many ways to God and all other religions are equally valid. Many churches in America now openly approves of homosexuality and have same sex marriages.

Other examples of the Apostasy:
• The General Assembly Meeting at the Presbyterian Church in America prays to Allah
"Allah bless us and bless our families and bless our Lord. Lead us on the straight path—the path of all prophets: Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad."
• Church in America to cease all references to God in effort to boost attendance
• The Pope says "Whether we call God, Jesus, Adonai, Allah or Krishna, we all worship the same God of love."

C. THE DAYS OF NOAH (VIOLENCE)

Jesus compared the generation of His return to the days of Noah and the days of Lot (Lk. 17:26, 28). Violence and immorality often occur together.

26“As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man…28Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold.” (Lk. 17:26-28)

The days of Noah: Those days were characterized by great violence.

12God looked upon the earth…it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth. 13God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence.” (Gen. 6:12-13)

Violence : The last hundred years or so has been the most violent time in history—42 million deaths as a result of combat, plus 83 million deaths associated with genocide (ethnic cleansing) and tyranny (44 million died related to government-induced starvation). Violence includes terrorism, wars, genocide, civil disorder, abortion, domestic violence, and human trafficking.

Ethnic conflict: The ethnic wars in Cambodia, Albania, Rwanda, Bosnia, Kosovo, and Sudan, along with Stalin’s purges and China’s Cultural Revolution exceeded 150 million deaths.

D. KINGDOM AGAINST KINGDOM - WAR

An unprecedented escalation of war in the 20th century made it the bloodiest time in history (with well over 100 million people killed).

Terrorism: The militant Islamic leaders have targeted Israel, the USA, and Western Europe. The deadly toll of terrorism around the globe has jumped nearly 800 percent in the past five years!

E. FAMINE, PESTILENCE (MT. 24: 7)

Famines: The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that about 795 million people of the 7.3 billion people in the world, or one in nine, were suffering from chronic undernourishment in 2014-2016. Almost all the hungry people, 780 million, live in developing countries, representing 12.9 percent, or one in eight, of the population of developing counties. There are 11 million people undernourished in developed countries.

F. EARTHQUAKE (MT. 24: 7)

Earthquakes: From 1890 to 1900 there was only one major earthquake in the world.

G. HATRED OF BELIEVERS: (MT. 24:9)

Martyrdom: The amount of persecution will be unique in the generation in which Jesus returns . The number of martyrs recorded over 1,900 years of church history was nearly 25 million. In the 20th century alone, there were over 45 million martyrs.

33“They shall fall by sword…35Some of those of understanding shall fall [martyrdom], to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end.” (Dan. 11:33-35)

H. BREAKDOWN OF THE FAMILY:

The divorce rate is exploding worldwide (in the US it is 50%). Jesus prophesied that family members would betray one another.

I. LAWLESSNESS WILL ABOUND (MT. 24:12)

The increase of evil is a prophetic sign of the end times. Humans will reach the highest potential for evil as sin reaches its fullest expression (Dan. 8:23).

12“Because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” (Mt. 24:12)

21The chief sins embraced in that hour will be murder, sorcery, immorality, and theft (Rev. 9:21).

21They did not repent of their murders…sorceries…sexual immorality or thefts. (Rev. 9:21)

A. Murder: Will be a primary sin on earth (Rev. 7:13-14; 9:21; 13:7, 10; 16:6; 17:6; 18:24; 9:2; cf. Dan. 7:21; Mk. 13:12-13; 2 Tim. 3:1-3)

Abortion: There are 50 million abortions worldwide each year (over 100,000 per day). The abortion pill will cause this number to increase. In the USA, over 60 million babies have been aborted since 1973. Over 1.5 million babies are aborted per year (4,000 per day) in the US. Estimates of the total number of abortions worldwide (1920-2000) are well over 500 million.

B. Sorceries: Occult and demon worship will abound (Rev. 13:4, 8, 12-15; 14:11). What is the fastest growing religion in the United States?
Wicca, and it is currently growing at an astounding pace.
Wicca emerged as a faith in the middle of the 20th century, but the origins of many Wiccan practices actually go back for thousands of years, and some researchers believe that certain aspects of Wicca can actually be traced all the way back to ancient Babylon. .

C. Sexual Immorality: Sexual perversion will increase greatly (Rev. 9:20-21; 17:2).

a. Pornography: Over $100 billion is spent annually on pornography worldwide—with 5 million pornographic websites that consist of over 500 million pages. The use of pornographic material among Christians continues to rise, reaching near epidemic proportions in the church. Research has shown that 50 percent of Evangelical Pastors in America are addicted to pornography!

b. Forbidding marriage: Paul prophesied that the institution of marriage would be outlawed in various places in the end times (1 Tim. 4:3).
There is currently an assault on the definition and institution of marriage itself from activist homosexuals seeking to redefine marriage legally.

c. Transgender is a term used to describe people whose gender identity differs from the sex the doctor marked on their birth certificate. Gender identity is a person's internal, personal sense of being a man or a woman (or someone outside of that gender binary).

D. Theft: Biblical prophecy describes slavery, which includes human trafficking, as a predominant sin in the end times

1. Slavery: There are currently 35 million slaves on the earth. It is growing at a rate of nearly 5 million per year.

11“And the merchants of the earth will weep…for no one buys their merchandise anymore: 12merchandise of gold…13cattle and sheep…and bodies and souls of men.” (Rev. 18:11-13)

J. FEARFUL SIGNS

11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. (Lk. 21:11)

• Wild climatic conditions
• Disasters
• Mass destruction of animals
• Freak flooding
• Bush fires

K. DISTURBANCES IN THE SEA (LK. 21:25),

“There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea.” (Luke 21: 25)

By far, the most destructive tsunamis are generated from large, shallow earthquakes with an epicenter or fault line near or on the ocean floor.

L. SIGNS IN THE SKY (LK. 21:11)

11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. (Luke 21:11)

20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. (Acts 2: 20)

Major events affecting the Jewish people have occurred in close proximity to all of these tetrads and most times it meant war between the Jews and the Muslims or the ‘Church’ and the Muslims.

THE MOVE TOWARD A ONE-WORLD RELIGION – HARLOT OF BABYLON

Then the angel carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness. The Harlot Babylon One World religion of tolerance will be a counterfeit justice movement that claims to answer injustice by meeting humanitarian needs.

The Harlot religion will prepare the nations to receive the Antichrist. It will be a religion of affirmation and toleration without absolutes. It will be a counterfeit justice movement that will feed the poor and be deeply involved in humanitarian projects. He will inspire acts of compassion but for all the wrong reasons. The goal will be the dignity and happiness of man.

Humanism is man seeking to make God in man’s image. The voluntary harlot religion will be replaced by a mandatory Antichrist religion. At first, people will voluntarily join the harlot Babylon one-world religion of tolerance (Rev. 17). Then, all will be forced to be Satan worshipers in the Antichrist religion and all who refuse to worship the Antichrist will be killed. (Rev. 13:4, 8, 15).

The Bible tells us that the national security Israel so desperately seeks today occurs via the judgments executed “on all those around them who despise them”

Why Elam? Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant

On November 11, 2014, Iran and Russia signed a deal to build up two new nuclear reactors on the site of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant.
A further two reactors of the same type are planned, and a preliminary agreement was made in 2014, details have still to be agreed.

Israel’s Borders Expand:
The scale of devastation in this war has led many to believe that Israel will use nuclear weapons. The conflict between Israel and her neighbors is over in one night. Israel does to her neighbors what they sought to do to her:

“Then behold, at eventide, trouble! And before the morning, he is no more. This is the portion of those who plunder us, and the lot of those who rob us.” Isaiah 17:14

The massive loss of life on Israel's side in the war supports the idea that the threat to Israel's existence will come to the point that they will have no choice but to unleash what is known as the "Samson Option”

18 So the Lord made a covenant with Abram that day and said, “I have given this land to your descendants, all the way from the border of Egypt to the great Euphrates River” Genesis 15:18

At the end of this war, Israel’s borders will be reset to that of, or very close to, the borders that God established for Israel in the covenant with Abraham.
