Julius with YWAM in Haiti 2003

While in Haiti, I had the opportunity to work with many different groups. I was able to minister to the needs and hearts of the people. One of the groups were victims of a flood which destroyed their community in 2002. I worked with the youths, who are my main focus as a missionary, teaching them the love of the Lord, along with practical skills. I also worked with the church doing door to door ministries, open-air crusades, and Evangelism in the schools.

In Haiti we have great opportunities to pray and break the curses over the nation, and to release God’s will and purpose in their lives.

We prayed for:

The people of Haiti to be freed from voodoo and witchcraft, to be free from bondages of the past. We prayed against the powerful spirits of voodooism that they might be broken in the name of Jesus. That voodoo will no longer be seen as Haitian cultural heritage. The nation of Haiti might find true liberty and social changes through the blood and power of Jesus. We prayed for the Haitian economy, because it is the poorest state in the western hemisphere
