My
name is Innocent Muhango, I would like to thank United Caribbean
Trust for what you have done for me.
My dream is one day to be somebody who helps my young brothers
and sisters so I decided to work very hard at school but it was
as if my dreams were going no where because when I was in class
eight the most difficult question I had was if I pass to go to
secondary school who will pay for my school fees? When I saw the
way of life at home I could not dare to thing of school any more
because we always have one meal sometimes we just sleep without
eating in this kind of life could not see my dreams coming to
pass.
During the holiday my friends were preparing in case they were
chosen to proceed with the secondary education but for me I was
busy doing work to no avail, when the results were out my friends
joined secondary education, on my side I had nothing to do, I
was so ashamed of myself, my friends could always come to me asking
when was I preparing to go to school, such kind of question added
more sorrow to my life I had a lot of thoughts then I had planed
to leave to go anywhere where I could not see my friends whom
I was schooling with, those who are now in secondary education.
Two weeks had passed since the opening of the school, then I heard
from a friend that Pastor Lotie was coming in our area {Karonga}
where they have the church I remembered that last year he took
my photo so I met him and explained to him he remembered. He asked
me to meet him the following day, I did as he asked me to do.We
went to school and registered my name am now at school thanks
very much
I can see now my dreams coming to pass, I did not have school
materials but he has bought them for me.
He said that he is not the one paying for me thus why I have written
you this letter he said he will interpret it in English since
I can not write in English.
Please help me though he has paid for two terms
I would like you to help me till I finish my school.
Yewo chomene {thanks very much]
