Youth Ministry

The youth of our nation represents our future, J.F.J. International Ministries will seek to provide the avenue for young people, not only to find a meaningful, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit but will spare no expense in making available the means whereby these youth can realize their fullest potential.

This will involve the provision of training programs, skills, sports programs, career guidance and training for ministry.

VISION:

• To help develop maturity in young men and women by instilling life principles from the Word of God
• To help establish goals and priorities in the family community, church and school environment.
• To define the role and purpose of the men and women form God’s perspective.
• To provide Biblical counsel and understanding from the Word of God.
• To help maximize the God given potential in the life of every young man or woman.

STRATEGY:

• A monthly workshop
• A teaching on life principles
• Outdoor activities including football, basketball, netball, walking
• Film and Video Seminars
• Seminars, Retreats specialized training dealing with youth concerns
• Host Families
• Skill Training Programs
• Career Guidance
• Training for Ministry
• Mentoring Programs

The youth programs will be geared towards meeting the needs of individuals that are 13-29 years of age. They will be trained to be law-abiding citizens; to maintain high level of integrity; and to take on the responsibility of positively influencing other community youths through their daily lives.

House of Freedom partnering with CHILLAX seeks to introduce a casual relaxed environment on a Friday and Saturday night where the youth from surrounding churches can gather under the tent and enjoy good clean entertainment interacting with the youth from the community.
