Stonecroft Haiti Child Sponsorship Program -
BON REPOSE

United Caribbean Trust is pleased to be working in association with Stonecroft Ministries partnering with the Yolanda Thervil Foundation on the Port au Prince Orphan Child Sponsorship Program.

Seen here Jenny Tryhane the founder of United Caribbean Trust distributing the Make Jesus Smile shoeboxes with Mama Yol the founder of the Yolanda Thervil Foundation and one of the teachers from the orphan school.

By sharing God's blessings to you with some of these children in Haiti you can give an orphan an education and a future with hope.

This can make a difference for eternity in a child's life.

What will your US $40 per month achieve?

The money will be divided into 4 modules

  1. The first 1/4 of the donation will go to the school to cover school fees, uniform, shoes, books and pencils etc. Complying with one of the Millennium Development Goals - To ensure that all girls complete a full course of primary schooling
  2. The next 1/4 will be invested into the agro project to purchase livestocks such as goats, chickens, and pigs as well as grow fruit and vegetables. It will also help with the vocational training school funding equipment such as sowing machines and other job training projects.. US $30 will be invested into a BioSand Water Filter to provide clean water per household.
  3. 1/4 will go towards funding the After School Club for the orphans and for the other children from the neighborhood that attend the school and church. When you support one child, you are also supporting the Christian community they live in.
  4. The last 1/4 will go towards the translation of the Stonecroft Bible Study books and guide manuals to be translated into Haitian Creole. This will be done throught the Haiti Bible Society. In addition to translating the literature needed for all the Faith based After School Club programs including an Adult literacy program.
