The Clinic on Wheels project 2001-2002

Community Clinic:

The Clinic on Wheels project 2001-2002- this program will render basic health care to people in general but especially women. The mobile Clinic will also be a way to educate women on a number of health care issues.

We are looking to target young women who have fallen through the cracks of the polyclinic systems and the elderly women who have no one to ensure that medication is repeated or appointments are kept with polyclinic etc.

We have begun research on the project and organisations such as UNIFEM and PAHO are interested in it.
