Restoration Ministries Haiti - Empowerment

Although Haiti has one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, it is a country full of poverty and illiteracy. It is suffering for a lack of leaders.

It is for this reason that we have a vision to bring hope to this small corner of the world, through practical education and training in the Word of God.

It is our goal to raise up leaders who will bring positive change for the future of Haiti, both naturally and spiritually.

It is our goal to achieve this mission by establishing Vocational Training Centres coupled with Empowerment Leadership Conferences to develop future leaders.

This must start in the schools, United Caribbean Trust is pleased to be working in association with Restoration Ministries Haiti to establish an After School Club.

The UCT Child Sponsorship Programme will help to establish various Family Empowerment Programmes.

It is our vision to build 'Family Orphan Care Centres' to provide for the basic needs of children and help poverty stricken families.

Assistance is needed to help these young people establish small home industries such as sewing.

For as little as US $100 this young lady can set up her own business and become self sufficient.

Read extracts from a letter of appeal that came from Africa. "In Tanzania we have a common saying which translated like this ’educate a woman so that the entire society should benefit’.

Seen below Pastor Lotie's wife Stella Akondowi modeling her new outfit made in the UCT African sewing factory.

To God be the glory.

Stella you have every reason to smile because God is smiling down on us.

UCT thanks all who sewed into this ministry enabling it to be established. 1 year scholarship costs $150.

UCT is seeking to establish a similar ministry in Haiti.
