North Point Surf Resort is an isolated
rugged, now empty resort, located in the northern parish of
St. Lucy.
It is wind swept, rugged and rustic with a remote
beach to the north which can be accessed by steps. The swimming can
be dangerous but it is a lovely beach to walk and enjoy the crashing
Atlantic and fresh Ozone.
The east boundary is protected by a row of ancient
Casurina trees, bent by years of trade winds blowing off the Atlantic
The old North Point Surf Resort, now derelict
is sited on this land.
An island tour to the north of Barbados would not
be complete without a stop at Cove
Bay.
