Phase #1

ATBS and ABCD have established excellent connections in these countries with contacts in schools, churches, orphanages and Bible Schools. Years of training have positioned us to now implement this excellent 'Sowing Seeds of Success' Africa children's reforestation programme.

Two teachers will be recommended and interviewed from each country within our vast network of Churches/Bible Schools and schools in these countries. All applicants must be bilingual and have experience with children's ministry, 12 teachers in total will be sponsored in Phase #2.

ABCD will sponsor the flights to Barbados and a small stipend of US $200 per month per person to cover personal expenses when on island. UCT will provide the food and accommodation and will be responsible for all training which will be done by professionally trained children's ministers, personally or online and on the job training within local Communiites/schools/churches.

Training, as in Stage #1 will include teaching in numerous children's ministries including Kids in Ministry International. Teachings from IHOP, Operation Solid Lives, Stonecroft Ministries. Online training in disaster management and horticulture.

As with the last African Class teaching will include Crisis Response International (CRI) online training. This online training will be a crucial part of the Phase #2 training and will compliment our children's Post Traumatic Stress programme 'Heal a Hurting Heart.'

Written in French especially for the terrible volcano that impacted DR Congo recently. There is also a cyclone and flood curriculum in Swahili and a COVID 19 version with translation under way in Portuguese and Yorbua.

Training like in Stage #1 will involve 'in house teaching', online and in person teaching as well as 'on the job experience' within the same 5 communities in Barbados - New Orleans, Emmerton, Deacons, Gall Hill and Eden Lodge. A minimum of 3 teachers plus a local Community Outreach Trainer will teach Monday to Friday 16.00 to 18.00. This second semester will repeat this exercise but with the second curriculum 'Super Fruits' The third semester will teach the Go and Grow Series (To be translated) and the final semester will teach the Spiritual Growth and New Life Series.

Establishing five After School Clubs in a total, 40 children maximum per club in some very low income communities in Barbados.

Creating French Swahili, Chichewa, Portuguese and Yoruba recourses:

•  Continue to translate the many UCT curriculums available for use in Africa not yet translated.

•  Translate the Kids in Ministry International starter pack in French, Chichewa, Portuguese and Yoruba.

•  Working with local musicians to establish African children's praise and worship chorus music videos in our in-house recording studio in Swahili, Chichewa and Yoruba.

•  Creating Swahili, Chichewa and Yoruba PowerPoints, colouring pages and take home tracks for Bible for Children to compliment our many African curriculums.

•  Assist in creating Swahili, Chichewa, Portuguese and Yoruba activity books to assist with teaching the curriculum.

Training in Horticulture, Seed Germination and Fruit tree grafting:

•  Moringa health and medicinal benefits, many educational handouts in need of translation.

Training For Schools | Kitchen Garden

African curriculum production:

Each teacher will assist with the creation of the curriculum including all props needed for the program.

Each teacher pairs will be given three of each of the curriculums to return to Africa in their language to commence the implementation aspect of this training.

•  ' Sowing Seeds of Success' - 12 Part Series

•  ' Super Fruits' - 12 Part series

•  ' Grow and Go' - 10 Part Series

•  Heal a Hurting Heart Post Traumatic Stress - 15 Part curriculum (optional)

Phase #2

All our 12 African graduates will return to Africa having enjoyed the last two weeks in Barbados on holiday enjoying the beauty of our beautiful Caribbean island home.

The two teachers from each of the 6 African countries will return with their curriculum packs in their own language and all visual aids and props needed to teach the programme. They will be employed at the going rate of employment for a teacher in Africa which is currently US $200 per month for a year.

Pastor David Akondowi, our UCT Tanzania Representative and a Director of ABCD, will have negotiated, in advance, with his regional network in the Africa Training Bible School to establish three pilot projects in three schools or churches in each zone to take part in Phase #3 over the year.

•  South DRC

•  The capital of Malawi

•  Three pilot projects in Mozambique, three in Zambia and three in Zimbabwe

Finally Pastor Blessing from Nigeria will do the same thing in his country working in addition with the Mount Zion's Mission Nigerian Network in Cross River in the south east region of Nigeria.

20 children will be allocated to take part in each pilot project per school/orphanage or church. This will involve two afternoons per week in two school, plus one afternoon per week and a Saturday Sowing Seeds of Success Club in the third school. This is a trial Pilot Project where the curriculum which has already been edited and adapted to make it culturally sensitive in the first Pilot Project will be taught by our newly qualified teachers in the six African countries.

All printing will be done in house and commercial printers will have been purchased in our initial #1 Training Programme and set up in strategic printing stations:

•  Mbeya in Tanzania to handle the south eastern African countries eg Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South DR Congo all associated with ATBS.

•  Nigeria in Akure, Ondo State to also cover the three Pilot Projects in Cross River

Each pair of teachers will be equipped with a laptop to enable them to download the videos for the songs to be sung as well as the educational videos that can be downloaded from our website. Some of the schools or churches involved in the Pilot Project will have a monitor or TV so the laptop can be connected and the children can enjoy the teaching. This laptop will also be used for Zoom meetings.

Additional stipends will be paid to help cover additional expenses during this Phase #2 Pilot Project including crayons, paper, pens markers, glue etc that may be needed to assist with the creation of visual aids needed to teach the lessons.

Additional expenses will be covered by ABCD including drinks and snacks for the children during Phase #2. Two weeks holiday will be taken at the end prior to Phase #3.

ABCD will sponsor Phase #3 which includes two 3 weeks Summer Camps per country. Our teachers will have access to these Camps to test the last curriculums prior to printing.

Phase #3

Following a two week holiday at the end of Phase #2 the teachers will begin the Summer Camp programme. Two camps per teacher teams per country, 12 camps during the Summer Holidays.

Three week 'Summer Camp' Programme (15 sessions per camp)

•  Grow and Go Series - Natural Growth review

•  Grow and Go Spiritual Growth Series - 5 Part Series

•  'FunTastic Fun Fair' - afternoon session

•  New Life Kids Discipleship Training curriculum - 8 Part Series

All the sewing for the props used in the drama within all the curriculum will be sown by the Tanzania women's empowerment program me or similar programmes in the different countries.

Phase #4

Following the three weeks children's Summer Camp project the teachers will embark on the final leg - Phase #4 to complete their one year contract. This is a vital part of their training to teach other teachers that are interested in introducing this Sowing Seeds of Success Africa Reforestation Programme into their schools, orphanages or churches. This is the final empowerment and equipping aspect of this project.

72 half day workshops will have been organized in advance using our African Representative's vast network of schools, orphanages and churches, 12 in each of the 6 African countries within the programme over a four week period up until the end of the Summer Holidays, a total of 72 workshops

These half day workshops will be hosted from 12 noon to 6pm with a break for refreshments in the afternoon. It is uncertain how many teachers will be interested in coming to the workshops, but from past experience there is such a shortage of good children's ministry teaching and material in Swahili and Chichewa that the response was overwhelming and we believe it will be the same again.

Each ministry, school or orphanage taught in these half day workshops will be provided with a 'Sowing Seeds of Success' pack which will mean the teachers are not only empowered but equipped with all that they need to introduce this year long programme into their organization.

This programme can easily flow into our Heal a Hurting Heart curriculum and the new teachers/Sunday school teachers/Orphanage aids will be taught about this curriculum and can be issued with it in the future if they want to embark in this curriculum be it for Post Traumatic Stress for the Volcanic Eruption in north east DR Congo, translated into French, or flooding translated into Swahili for Tanzania or Portuguese for Mozambique, as well as COVID stress that the children are dealing with following this pandemic already translated into French for DR Congo.

Reforestation:

ABCD is hoping to be able to establish a fruit plant nursery in each country to be able to continue to sponsor these new schools, orphanages or churches embarking on our Sowing Seeds of Success Africa Reforestation Programme, by supplying them each with the 12 SUPER FRUITS

Long term ABCD is hoping to be able to purchase some agriculture land in many of these countries. We have already placed a deposit on a large agriculture land in Uganda. Moringa training has already been started in Africa in 2015 and land has been acquired to establish a Moringa Nursery . Here we hope to establish a Moringa processing plant, as part of our "Food For Life Africa"

We have established a European market to sell these Moringa products to bring in additional revenue to continue to fund this excellent reforestation programme.

Summary:

•  12 teachers will graduated from our second one year Programme from six African countries

•  5 Barbadian communities in Phase #1 will benefit from the 12 week 'Sowing Seeds of Success' Moringa programme. Planting hundreds of Moringa trees including educating the people of the nutritional and medicinal benefits of this 'Miracle Tree'.

•  360 African children will take part in the Phase #2 Pilot Project (18 pilot projects X 20 children) Resulting in over 360 Moringa trees being planted at home or in the school/church or orphanage if possible.

•  12 small Super Fruit trees will be donated to each school/church or orphanage taking part in the Phase #2 Pilot Project resulting in over 216 fruit trees being planted, establishing 18 orchards within the school/church or orphanage if possible as part of our School Kitchen Garden programme.

•  "Food For Life Africa"

•  12 Summer Camps and 240 children will benefit from teaching of the Grow and Go and New Life curriculums.

•  Phase #4 seventy two 'Teachers teaching and Equipping Teachers' Summer Holiday workshops will be hosted it is impossible to assess how many new ministries, schools or orphanages that will be trained and equipped to embark in this 'Sowing Seeds of Success Africa Reforestation Project'. 72 training workshops will be sponsored we are averaging a minimum of 10 ministries (schools teachers, orphanage aids or Sunday school churches teachers) being trained in each workshop (two from each ministry) a total of 720 new Clubs being established.

•  Our 12 teachers will continue to be sponsored to allow them to continue the excellent work throughout Africa, training and teaching other teachers and equipping them in this wonderful programme reaching the church of today, the children.

"You have heard me teach things that have been confirmed by many reliable witnesses. Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others ."
