Hope Child Care Centre

We are very pleased to announce that an amazing door of opportunity has opened for Project Hope and United Caribbean Trust (UCT). UCT’s African charity called the “African Bureau of Children's Discipleship” (ABCD) has been offered a 5 year lease with the option to purchase, the currently redundant Jack & Ethel Educational Centre orphanage in Uganda. A deposit has been put down to secure the property.

We have now officially signed the agreement and ABCD is now the official caretakers of this enormous ministry opportunity.

The centre has been closed for years and is urgent need of refurbishment.

However there are still children living there helped and supported by the local community.

ABCD Aims and Objectives:

•To purchasing land in the various regions throughout Africa to serve as PowerPlay Centers.

•Constructing of low cost buildings and facilities including PowerPlay Child Care Centers, schools if not available, youth centers/worship sanctuary and vocational training schools.

• Developing recreational play areas for children's education and training, and for leisure activities including football fields to encourage Sports Evangelism and other children's ministries like KIMI PowerClubs and KidsGames plus educational programs such as Kicking AIDS Out.

Developing recreational play areas for children's education and training, and for leisure activities including football fields to encourage Sports Evangelism and other children's ministries like KIMI PowerClubs and KidsGames plus educational programs such as Kicking AIDS Out.

•Developing enterprising projects such as farming and animal husbandry to provide sustainability for the residents.

•Planting a range of fodder for livestock animals, (i.e free range chickens, goats, rabbits and pigs) trees such as Moringa and Mulberry will be introduced for animal fodder.

•Developing permaculture gardens designing human settlements and agricultural systems that are modeled on the relationships found in natural ecologies. The establishment of Moringa Platations is our first priority.

•Producing income generating crops on the agricultural land to enable the projects to be self-funding and sustainability including fish farms and aquaponics.

•Providing training and employment opportunities on site for older orphans in the form of vocational training including Moringa Procession and Marketing

•Providing a site for workshops for local entrepreneurs; school group visits; and seed banks for distribution to the locals

Our mission is to reach and help other's reach the lost world through sports with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Sports Evangelism objectives:

• To educate, encourage and partner with outreaching churches, ministries and individuals in proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ using sport and leisure evangelism.
• To assemble, co-ordinate, train and activate local area interdenominational teams to evangelize through sport in the countries that God calls us to.
• To support and encourage specific sport ministries in fulfilling their calling in the Kingdom of God.
• To form relationships with, help disciple and prepare for sports ministry, sport's men and women who serve Jesus Christ.
• To reach and assist schools and sport's clubs, providing sporting resources and quality coaching.
• To help unite the body of Christ through team work and outreaches.
• To teach sport's participants God's plan for them in the sporting arena.
