Petit Martinique Church Building Project 2008

MISSIONS IN PETITE MARTINIQUE -

There is a mandate and an urgent call of dying souls in need of salvation in the Island of Petite Martinique. A beautiful island with a population of 1000 people. Petite Martinique is one of the islands of the Tri-island state of Grenada, about 20 minutes away from Carriacou by boat. Click on pictures to enlarge

Our Senior Pastor, Pastor Happy and the members of Thy Kingdom Come Deliverance Sanctuary in Carriacou, by Divine Instructions from the Holy Spirit embarked on missions in Petite Martinique. In February, 2008 we had a weekend of Revival Crusades, as lives were touch when Pastor Happy and Prophet Devon Mcsween (Rhema Ministries, Grenada) ministered the Evangelistic, Prophetic and uncompromising Word of God followed with healings, deliverances, signs and wonder. Then, 10% of the island population got saved and our first service started on Sunday, February 17th, 2008 at Sis Regina Frank’s living room. Sis Regina Frank is a member of our congregation in Carriacou but she is originally from Petite Martinique.

A prophetic word came forth during that first service that “if the church steps out by faith by Christmas we should have our own Building”

Missionary team of 12 from the USA led by Bro Gene Bendall

With much persistence and spiritual warfare a land was finally acquired on May 22nd ,2008. Work was started immediately with the permission given by the owner of the land while bank loan transactions for the payment is been processed. By the following week a missionary team of 12 from the USA led by Bro Gene Bendall came to our rescue and assisted with the foundation work for 1 week. Many thanks to the team for there sacrifice and hard work toward Kingdom building project for souls.We are grateful to all those who are assisting in any way to make this project a success. Hard work has now begun and the church needs your financially support, missionary teams and prayers

The Beginning

Our church was destroyed by hurricane Emily in June 2005.

Land has been donated to the 'youth of the island' for the erection of a new church in Carriacou. A special thanks to the Grenada government.

The focus remains on getting this church and hurricane shelter completed before the start of the 2006 hurricane season in June. .

Laying the foundations

God is building His church on the island of Carriacou, the building continues to astound the local inhabitance as well as government officials who marvel at the hand of God over their island.

A new year update

The plastering is almost finished, why not sow into the 'Window seed' appeal. Your help is needed as this young church steps out in faith. No money has been borrowed and God has blessed their efforts.

The plastering is almost finished the rafters are up, we trust God for the roof.

April after what seemed like a long wait the first sheets of galvanize was erected and the painting could start - God is good!
