Springs of Hope Care Ministries and Orphanage Centre will cover school going OVC in the fourteen sub counties in Busia district.

Specifically, the project will cover the following sub counties: Lunyo, Masaba, Lumino, Buhehe, Masafu, Dabani, Busitema, Buteba, Bulumbi, Busia municipal council, Sukuda, Masinya, Buyunda and Majanji.

The project will be a one year program the dates to be announced in the future.

Sustainability of the project:

The project will promote a holistic approach by addressing the entire OVC focused care and support with mutually reinforcing programme strategies including integration of programme activities into existing local government structures and systems. The project will work particularly with local governments and other existing OVC service providers - supporting and building on what already exists. This type of collaborative and partnership arrangement will greatly contribute to the sustainability of the project. Age sensitive interventions will be developed to take into account the different ages and to ensure effective participation of all target groups thus sustainability of the programme.
