5.TEACHING:
a) Review

Last week we learnt that we are Spirit, Soul and body. Can someone recite the Memory Verse?

May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5: 23b)

Are you having life to the full…or are you struggling, just coping? (Allow a time for discussion)
We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus. Are you a conqueror or are you being conquered? (Allow a time for discussion)
No weapon formed against me will prosper. Are weapons prospering against you? (Allow a time for discussion)
Are you the head? Or do you feel like you’re the tail? (Allow a time for discussion)
The fruits of the Spirit, are they manifesting in your life as much as you’d like? (Allow a time for discussion)
Do you feel like you take two steps forward and one backwards? (Allow a time for discussion)

6. APPLICATION/ENCOUNTERING GOD:
Set up the Laptop connected to the sound system to play soft worship music to set the atmosphere.

Remember Jesus wants to set you free, not teach you how to cope! Let us all have a time reflecting on any Strongholds that may be impacting our lives, any doors that we may have opened. Let’s pray together.

CLOSING PRAYER: Heavenly Father I want to confess that I have not loved, but have resented certain people and have unforgiveness in my heart. Lord, I call upon You to help me forgive. Now I choose to forgive with my free will, and release all judgments. Help me to take my Open Door List home and fill this out, bring back to my memory anything that was done to me or that I did that needs to be included. Now I forgive and accept myself, in the Name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I confess dabbling in the occult, even through the video games I have played, books I have read, the dvd’s I watched and the music I have been listening to. I confess these as sin ) and even those I do not remember. Lord, I repent and renounce these sins and ask You to forgive me. In the Name of Jesus I now close the door to all occult practices.

Thank you, Jesus for dying on the cross that I might be forgiven. I confess all my sexual sin and invite You, Jesus to be Lord of my life, especially my sexuality. I ask You to set me free from everyone I have had sexual relations with outside of marriage. I recognize that this is sin and I do not want to continue these relationships. Any spirit in satan’s kingdom that has come into me through these sexual relationships, I use the authority I have in Jesus Christ, that you have no further right in my spirit, soul and body in the Name of Jesus. Amen
