Baby Survival Boxes of Hope

Another warehouse space is needed for the Baby Survival Box of Hope.

In September 2004 when hurricane Ivan destroyed Grenada UCT worked in association with the Baby Survival Kit Foundation to be the hands of distribution for that excellent initiative.

Seen here Tony in La Mode demonstrating Christ's love in action.

Baby Survival Kits in transport

Following hurricane Ivan over 70 Baby Survival Kits were transported to St. Georges, Grenada by BARNUFO as a result of the sterling efforts of Mrs. Melanie Bishop founder of the Foundation.

UCT had great respect for the way the Foundation worked during the relief efforts.

We are now looking to extend our Make Jesus Smile shoe box ministry into a Community Based Mitigation Programme, introducing a similar project called Make Jesus Smile Baby Survival Boxes of Hope.

"The Baby Survival Kit"

A warehouse space on the Amazing Grace would be a perfect place to pack these boxes.

Corporate sponsorship would be needed to supply items like Baby Formula and nappies.

Research is being done on the ability to add PowerFlour to the Feed My Starving Children's food formula enabling us to be able to feed this food to babies as young as 6 months.

United Caribbean Trust seeks to partner with PSI a nonprofit organization that harnesses the vitality of the private sector to address the health problems of low-income and vulnerable populations.

We are considering including each of their products in our Baby Survival Box of Hope. Enabling the baby to obtain clean water with their affordable and easy-to-use water treatment product. Adding oral rehydration salts to promote oral rehydration therapy and to include Babyfer which contains iron, Vitamin C, Folic Acid, Vitamin A, and Zinc, designed to provide the recommended daily requirement of micronutrients for children aged 6-24 months
