Dr. Mamie Oliver

Dr. Mamie Oliver is an Ordained Minister, Educator, Psychotherapist and Author.Dr. Mamie Oliver is an Ordained Minister, Educator, Psychotherapist and Author. Her ministry gives particular emphasis to Women, Families and Children. Dr. Oliver is also a Tenured, Full Professor of Social Work and serves as the Coordinator of Internships at the Northwest Nazarene University, in Nampa, Idaho. She holds a BA Degree from California State University at Los Angeles, California, a Masters of Social Work Degree from Fresno State University in Fresno, California and a Ph. D. degree in Education from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.

Dr. Oliver is listed in Who's Who In Religion and currently serves as Minister To Women at the St. Paul Baptist Church, Boise, Idaho. This active servant also serves as chair of the Women's Affairs Committee of the International Association of Ministers' Wives and Widows, Inc. She is the wife of Dr. H. Lincoln Oliver, retired Pastor of the Olney Street Baptist Church, Providence, RI.

Dr. Oliver is a much sought after Workshop Developer, Facilitator, Consultant and Motivational Speaker. She is a caring visionary, and Being very community minded and possessing an enthusiasm for serving, she is the Founder and Executive Director of the Community Ministries Center in Boise, Idaho.

Dr. Oliver is deeply committed to empowering women. She believes that psychological, physical and spiritual growth and healing is connected to our WILL TO BE MADE WHOLE.

During our Women's Retreat this year, Dr. Oliver is excited to unveil her new book “GRAMS OF HEALING” and invites all attendees to purchase this pocket size booklet. In it are gems from past workshops and many HELPS for persons who once again are challenged to revisit the ancient prophecy, "He took up our infirmities and carried our diseases" (Matthew 8:17).
