Lord,
all week I have revelled
in Your Glory!
How You have renewed
my spirit!
I was lagging behind.
My soul was dry
and thirsty.
Parched.
Longing for MORE of You…
yet dried up like
cracked ground in a desert.

You have restored to me
the JOY of my Salvation!
I was released!
One night,
You cleansed my inner being.
I was totally washed
by You.
I felt so clean!
So wonderful!

The following night,
You released me into joy!
I was sitting
in the service,
and You touched me!
One moment,
I was sitting down…
and in the next moment,
I was jumping up and down
Shouting “Yes! Yes! Yes!
Glory!”
I felt so good!

Friday afternoon at work
I was drunk in the Holy Spirit.
I felt like laughing
and laughing.
And at one point,
I did !
Holy Laughter!
Euphoria!
Ecstacy!

“…those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.” (Isa. 40:31 NIV)

It is the Lord
who strengthens!
It is the Lord
who restores!
It is the Lord
who renews!

What a wonderful
and faithful God
we come to know!
