A new opportunity developed this year that enabled United Caribbean Trust to purchase a property in Mbeya.

The 3 year old property is located within a walled enclosure and covers 2,450sq ft ground space, it is large enough to become the town church and child care center we have been praying about. It will seat over 300 people African style.

Seen here with the new galvanize roof, to God be the Glory, great things He has done.

Community based Child Care Centers (CCC) are urgently needed. They act as a child development pre school institute, a health care center and a food distribution outlet during the week for the orphans and vulnerable children in the community. Each CCC will be backed by a pastor with a heart for the youth and the center seconds as a Christian youth center on Saturday and church on Sunday.

The CCC will help the many children affected or infected by HIV/AIDS Tanzania is one of the countries most severely affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

The children attending the CCC will remain at home with the extended family but come on a daily basis for Spiritual and Physical food and health care.

The property is close to Highlands Bible School where UCT has established the Pastor Sponsorship Program

Raising up youth pastors to work within the Child Care Centers and take the Gospel into the bush.

Within the walled compound there is a rectory which is almost finished and Pastor Lottie and his family have moved in.

The windows are now in and decorative bricks installed on one side. This property will be used, God willing as the first UCT child care center in Tanzania from Monday to Friday.
