Restoration Ministries Tanzania - Mary Sunlight Mkandawire

I was born in 1963 into a Christian family. I receive Jesus Christ as my Saviour in 1978. I am now a widow having one child. I heard the calling from God on my life for full time ministry since the end of 1980s while I was working to the Christian Council of Tanzania.

The Lord started using me in teaching small children in Sunday school, youth groups, and women groups in my church. My heart and soul were leading me into full time minister. In 1996, I started going to hospitals visiting sick people, at first I was preaching for the prisoners who were sick. I got permission to visit the prisons and I started preaching and taking care for their needs, such as buying the food they wanted and little things like soap and oil, I was using my own money for this ministry.

I thank God, because they were receiving Jesus! In 2000, I started preaching in prison psychiatric institutions to mental ill people who were murderers. I thank God because these mental people are receiving Jesus and we are having fellowship together!

Since 1998 in my heart I desired to go to Bible school, but I was giving a lot of excuses, I was anxious about leaving the family I take care off, but this desire was growing in my heart everyday. Is 2004, I consulted my boss that I wanted to go to Bible School, I was thinking because is was a Christian organization that there may be a way of them paying my fees for me, but they told me that I had to take unpaid leave.

I joined the Assemblies of God School of Theology (AGST), in Malawi, in February 2005 I came here by faith and I am living on compass by faith, because I do not have anyone to pay fees for me. I thank God because He provided for me for last year semesters. This semester I came to school with part of my fees, and I am looking for remaining fees for this semester and other semesters to come. My prayer to God is that He will make it possible for me to continue with my studies until I complete my course, I am taking a Diploma.

Mary needs US $60 to complete this semester and then US $ 325 to complete her first year and US $650 next year to complete her diploma. Your help is needed.
