The Amazing Grace compliments
much of the ministry that UCT has been developing over the
last 3 years. It is perfect to compliment the School
Twinning Programme and could be used for students
travelling for Student Exchange between the islands.
The benefits
to be gained for participating schools include:
• The opportunity for lending compassionate support
to recovering students of similar age and gender;
• The opportunity to assist in humanitarian relief efforts
throughout the Caribbean through the ‘Baby
Survival Boxes of Hope’ initiative;
• The learning experience of a cultural exchange of information
on respective countries;
• The opportunity to form long-lasting friendships via Internet
and airmail;
• The exchange of ideas, opinions and “a glimpse”
at the lifestyle of another child;
• The opportunity for exposure to alternative working teaching
methods, aids and languages;
• The opportunity for schools to obtain or exchange equipment,
books and visit each other’s websites with the compliments
of the United Caribbean Trust’ website www.UnitedCaribbean.com
• The opportunity to visit other islands, staying in Youth
Hostel Mission facilities provided at the United Caribbean Headquarters
and various Mission Projects.
This is an exciting aspect of
the Child Sponsorship
Programme as students in Barbados who helped
to activate the programme through the Make
Jesus Smile shoebox project could be given the
opportunity to travel to places like Haiti, Dominica Carib
Territory, Guyana and Suriname.

Child Sponsorship Programme
What will your US $30
per month achieve?
The first 1/3 of the fees will go to the school
to cover school fees, uniform, books and pencils etc.
The next 1/3 will be invested into a Family
Empowement Programme enabling the family to purchase
livestocks such as goats, black belly sheep, chickens, pigs or
cows. This will not only assist with feeding the family but educate
the children in self sufficiency.
The last 1/3 will be invested in the development
of the After School
Club which is being established at the local Restoration
Ministries Haiti church.This will include an afternoon feeding
programme and a child educational, character building evangelical
teaching programme.
