LETTERS OF ENCOURAGEMENT - In the Spirit

Lord,
the other night
I had a quick glimpse
of Our World
from outer space.
A multi-coloured marble
suspended
in Darkness.

But, I KNEW
that the World
was CLEAN.

You had WON
The Great Battle
over the Earth.

It was like
a Heavenly Goodness
had descended
on our Earth.

We were FREE!

Lord,
how I wish to be
with You
in that wonderful place
called Heaven,
that we can’t even begin
to imagine.

Sometimes,
I can’t believe
Adam and Eve
let their lives with You
slip…
through their hands.

The Devil
is very good
at his work.
He does an
excellent job.
He uses the very people
you trust.
He manipulates you
with attractive offers
that would destroy
your relationship with God,
and your relationship with others.

He sows his seeds
of destruction
in the minds
of Unbelievers.
Yes, the Unbelievers
believe…
but they believe
in the Way
of the World,
Satan’s World.
He creates DESIRE
in the mind of Man.
Sin begins
as thought.
And reinforced thoughts
lead to action –
committed sin.

Satan’s best temptations
are tangible.
Money, mansions, Mercedes’…
MATERIAL POSSESSIONS.
Sexual immorality,
Drugs, Alcoholism…
WEAKNESSES’ OF THE FLESH.
And if the tangible
is not enough,
he uses the intangible…
He uses THOUGHT MANIPULATION
between people.
Subtle, sneaky, cunning…
RUTHLESS!
Breaking down relationships
between us,
so that He can isolate us…
tie us up in loneliness,
self-pity and depression…
and then,
slowly devour us
at his pleasure…
like a horrible dessert –
a broken body,
and a broken mind,
filled with Worldly garbage!

What a struggle
we live through!
What an achievement
to get through
a whole day!
Spiritual Survival
needs the constant
nourishment
of Your Holy Spirit!
We need guidance, strength,
and revelation!

Our God,
we need You
every day!
