Yoruba is a west African language spoken by over 
                twenty million people, mainly in south-western Nigeria. The language 
                is written in Latin (Roman) letters. 
              The first of the Scriptures was translated into 
                Yoruba in 1850, the New Testament was published in 1862 and full 
                Bible was first printed in 1884. The classic Crowther translation 
                was produced in 1900. 
              The New Testament was corrected in 1959 and published 
                in 1960. 
              The Johnson version was produced in 1969. Bible
